When at Barca? Yes.
While underwhelmed by KWs technical ability I do understand he has other qualities. In many ways he resembles Alves. I've often seen Dani storming down the wing only to put in a cross Richard Edghill would have disowned.
I am not sure how anyone can know how much input a manager has had into a purchase as opposed to the scouts, directors of football etc. I would imagine that the decisions are often joint ones that the manager has to at least acquiesce to.No he didn't, he made amazing purchases for his core team and then had some dodgy ones when he was trying to experiment with different ways of playing or adding different things to the squad.
Not to mention a lot of the signings that did badly were bought for him, and failed because he didn't want them so he didn't use them.

Presumably last season he had some say in the purchases when we bought:
Nolito, Bravo, Gundogan, Sane, Jesus, Stones, Moreno & Zinchencko
Not all of them have been complete successes and a couple of them I would classify as failures. I don't expect every transfer this season is going to be a success but that is the nature of transfers, hopefully the majority will be successful.

Things can change and the jury is out on several but I would currently classify Nolito and Bravo as failures.when you say a couple of them failures are you saying two or more then two?

No, far too early to tell and at the price we paid I would never really classify Zinchencko as a failure, he could become a gamble that didn't work out though.i agree with you, just curious if you labeled any of the younger kids failures
Have you visited the matchday threads on here?I think any fan who is a season ticket holder and watches players week in week out for a good few seasons will have a pretty good idea of a players strengths and weaknesses.
Hahaha.......aahhhhh, the Bluemoon Matchday Thread......it really is a thing to behold, knee jerk reactionary at it's best.Have you visited the matchday threads on here?
City have just retweeted a tweet from a lad thanking them for the opportunity to meet Pep last year. The guy's name is Kyle Walker.
Knew what they were doing there, love it.

I don't know if the loans are for sale or for later consumption or either depending on how they develop. Either way too early to say but I forgot Mooy who has been a success financially, though I'm old fashioned and like to see signings play for us.Interesting to line all last years business up like that. It's a very mixed bag. Nolito (despite a good start, pointless sending off finished his season) and Bravo big failures!
Jesus and Sane big sucesses. Stones and Gundogan are yet to be classified. With respect to the two guys on loan one assumes the objective is to sell on this season or next at a profit which if it transpires I suppose must be classified as a success.
Funny as fuck - you'd have to think this is done and dusted after they tweeted that.
They did retweet other fans involved in the pepstaxi thing.
Unless we're about to buy a guy called Peter Thornton as well as Kyle Walker.
