Txixi is becoming the new Arsene Wenger. Messing around for a few million.

You know what? Just fuck that shit.

The man delivered KDB, Sane, Sterling, Gundogan, Stones, Bernardo Silva, Bravo, Ederson and more over the past couple of windows, yet fools like you still want to sling shit in his direction.

Grow the fuck up. it's a business, not trading cards.

How far off can Txiki possibly be on this deal? Its been 2 months with being talked about and still we don't have him. This is piss poor from Txiki, pay the fee and get on with the next targets.

This is the wrong answer. These things always take time and you have to play your cards at the right time through the transfer window. Setting some arbitary deadline and moving on to the next target could lead you to sign a load of second rate players. If you look at the biggest transfer swoops of all time far more come at the death of the window than do nice an early in time for pre season training. Tixi knows what he is doing, judge him in early september.

ideally shouldn't have returned to pre season . Just shows nothing is agreed between the clubs.... positive is he will be in shape.

Need some good news

I agree mate but its only fair to say, if Txiki was in charge of signing all our starting FB's to contracts that end all in the same summer and loan out our only backups, leaving our shelves empty and every club across europe rubbing there hands seeing ££££, then he does deserve some stick. Not trying to slag off the guy but this has been a problem for 3 years, this isnt new.....and because of how poorly this has been managed, clubs are seeing us coming a mile off! Forget getting a bargain this summer, any club in their right mind is asking for extra because of the mess we got ourselves in. Clubs know we are desperate and this is why i believe its taking so long!

I trust him to sort it but do believe we've made it hard for ourselves...

When its a negative slant its always Tixiki - when its possitive its always Pep. We dont know the conversations that went on over the last two summers/winters around full backs. For all we know loads of full backs have been lined up and rejected by the managers at the time. I am sure we looked and we made a decision based around what we could get v's what we had and what might happen down the road. That decision would not have been Tixiki alone. We no doubt have a long list of potential full backs right now and again the decsion to hold out for any particular player will not be down to Tixiki alone.

I agree mate...fair comment!;) I just think there has been a breakdown, mistakes have happened and we now in a mess that needs sorting out but if Txiki thinks we'll knock teams asking price down...its going to be a very long summer!
