Same scum that let him go years back for 6mil? I'd have Bailly at city in a heart beat. I'd have smalling over Evans as well.Be very Shrewd when the scum have 115m in there first team who would be our back up if he came here.

Don't be such a snob. He is west broms best player, all their fans say so. They would know more than you or me. West brom are a decent mid table side, surely their best player is good enough to be our 4th choice?
I agree that its a rip off, but this late in the window, withcity involved, its bound to be.
If he does a job i don't care to be honest i'll wait to see how he does if he signs before being a fuckin mard arse, like i said i'm not thrilled about it but will give the lad a chance having watched City since 1969 i'm sure i'll get by.
Some of us have given our reasons but if you can't be arsed reading through the thread I won't be repeating them for you.Agreed. An embarrassing sense of entitlement for some here. He's definitely good enough to be a rotation option for us. It's pretty telling that none of the anti crowd have managed to string together an argument more complex that "he's crap, rag, he's crap" etc.
Rotation option for 30mil?!? Think about that.Agreed. An embarrassing sense of entitlement for some here. He's definitely good enough to be a rotation option for us. You really cant understand why the majority of fans don't want a 29 year old ex united defender from an poor side who will cost upwards to 30 million?Agreed. No not at all so don't fuckin patronise me , i've see seen pleny of highs and lows in my nearly 50 years of watching City but now we really are a top european club and like i said i'm not thrilled about signing Evans but it's looking like we will so get fuckin use to it give the lad a chance and let's see how it pans out. It's not being mard to be disappointed and frustrated that we would spunk 25mil on a player we have seen for the entirety of his career is not going to improve us. If you were at York away though you will be happy with anything though am I right?
Getting priced out for Jonny Evans. That's something I never thought I'd post on Bluemoon.

Wind your neck in you tried the patronising bit first fella. If he plays I will support him because I want us to win. But I feel totally justified in stating I think it's an appalling bit of business before we waste 30mil on crap as we have done with bony delph bravo nolito and many others in recent times. In the case of those they at least justified the punt we were taking. How does a 30year old well past his average best.No not at all so don't fuckin patronise me , i've see seen pleny of highs and lows in my nearly 50 years of watching City but now we really are a top european club and like i said i'm not thrilled about signing Evans but it's looking like we will so get fuckin use to it give the lad a chance and let's see how it pans out.

My arguments against this signing are 1) its another kick in the face to our youth 2) price is a pisstake 3) we have a history of making these type of signings and they've all gone as expected, Rodwell, sinclair, Delph, Bony etc 4) i personally think the need for another centre back is overstated
i think he will join but I also think we'll be trying to flog him for a couple of million in two years to celtic or sunderland
He is better than Stones was without Kompany last season. Stones has got the ability to be a top player, but last season he fell to pieces without Kompany.
