What glaring weaknesses do you think we have and do you feel its worth seeing how this season pans out before claiming such things?

I think he's referring to centre back and CDM.
We have Mangala as 4th choice CB and Gundogan, Delph and Danilo who can hopefully cover for Dinho at CDM when necessary so I don't think the situation is quite as bad as some claim. I do worry about our chance conversion rate though and signing Sanchez would have helped us in this regard. Unless it improves markedly we're winning nothing again.

I am going to feel sad to see him wasting a year in the europa league,he is too good for that

Not as fed up as him. Peak of his career stuck at a car crash of a club, playing for a deluded has been manager in a 2nd rate euro competition. It's a short career and he's being forced to waste it away

Fingers crossed we will be right up there come the end of the year and Arsenal are laguishing around 7th place, Sanchez sticks to his guns and insists that he is leaving at the end of the season. Nip in with a £15 million offer in January and the jobs a good one.

Couldn't care less whether or not he joins to be honest (never did from the start of this transfer saga).

If he was serious about wanting to work with Pep, he would have put in formal transfer request, after all what's a few million in lost loyalty bonus compared to playing under Pep once again? (Plus it's not as if he would been on a pauper's contract whilst playing for us).

As far as I'm concerned the club should be foucused on finding younger forward players to compliment what we already have, with a view to finding a long term replacement for Sergio, not wasting their time on a player who been happy to coast along with Arsenal for the last few years.

The ship for joining City for Sanchez sailed when he first went to Arsenal, not now or next year.

VVD has put in a transfer request and gone on strike, costa has refused to go back to the chavs and coutino put in a transfer request, all 3 have been refused moves away, the arses would not let him go even if he had got arsey with them

Are you saying that if he had put in a TR, he would be in blue now?

You do realise that we were unable to sign Sanchez when he signed for Arsenal due to FFP ?

Clearly not .

Being reported in Spain that Sanchez's agent approached Madrid once we got the knock back from Arsenal. Quite possibly a made up story but it would have been just like Arsenal to cut off their nose. Lying to their fams

Some people just don't have a clue.

Probably. Would be very interesting to see his reaction to scoring if we are supposedly still going to be in for him ASAP. Although obviously I'd rather he didn't score!

I'm sure he was well aware of our interest in him when we played them in the FA Cup semi final, and he had no problem celebrating then.

I wouldn't read too much into what he does when we play them. He's got a job to do ultimately.
