Yes and we then probably wouldn’t be 15 points clear with that very simple tactic.
3 posts in 4 years for @its3lawi isn't bad. That's 0.75 posts per year which is fair to be fair.3 posts in 4 years? Your man?
You don’t get it do you.If you actually watch the games, instead of being sarcastic then argumentative against an opinion, then maybe, just maybe you would gain a bit of respect on here, have you not realised yet that not many like you on here ,as you pick holes in a lot of "opinions"
If you can't see how Aguero looks fatigued, with this role he is being asked to do,you are more dafter than I thought,he needs protecting for the rest of the season man, just stay in the oppositions half, and do what he does best, score fucking goals, like he has done all his City career
Did you see the award he got the other month for what he had achieved by doing that,or did you just read about it on here, looking for an argument ? Just curious
You don’t get it do you.
The team isn’t set up for Aguero to score 50 goals in a season. It’s set up to control the game through pressing and possession and I trust Pep setting up the team as his record speaks for itself.
I’d much rather win the league at a canter with Aguero scoring 20 goals than finish 3rd and him score 50 a la Harry Kane.
I presume you agree with that? Just curious as you seem more bothered about individual players than the success of the team.
Also there’s no need for the name calling and comments about being daft or not being respected or not watching games, I didn’t have a go at you so why not rebutt the post rather than the poster.

So that’s all you need say when defending him then. If people slag him off for not scoring then people should point out that he’s sacrificing his normal play for the good of the team and it’s working very well over the season so far.Course I get it,Sergio scores his goals in the box or just outside, not from the half way line, the success of the team is there for all to see,and as this is the Aguero thread,he needs defending against the grief he gets about not scoring more goals, you have answered the reason as to why that is,but a different approach regarding the striking options is sometimes needed.
As for the name calling, grow a pair lad,you give as good as you get
It's absolutely staggering that after 18 wins in a row, 15 points clear at the table, beating 130 year old European records etc. people would still suggest we should change our way of playing to make one player look better.
If there's a solution to Aguero not playing well, it's him getting better at what Pep wants him to do, not Pep telling him to just stay in the box and take it easy while the rest of the team suffers for it.
Same applies for any player.
Maybe he can't play that role as good as he is expected to ?
Have you thought that at any stage ?

He was off his game last night but not as much as Ederson, Danilo, Ota, Stones or Dinho. Games like that happen by fortunately it’s few and far between and we still nearly came away with a draw in the hardest domestic game of the season so we can all chill out a bit.
But I don’t agree with your suggestion that he just goes back to playing in the opposition box for the remainder of the season as that would then fuck up our entire game plan. What Aguero needs is Jesus to come back so he can be rested and rotated more.
Then, sad as it is, he'd have to go and someone who can play the role will be brought in. I don't believe that's the case though.
He's had games where he's done it all, so it is possible for him to do, he just needs to find some consistency and get better at it. He's a fantastic footballer, and what Pep wants him to do is hard but not impossible by any means.
I'd prefer, well, for rest of this season anyway, that he lurks around the oppositions box and fires some goals in,not being isolated on the half way line, after chasing back, blowing out of his arse, let us use him best as we know and have seen over past 6 years,a goalscorer
