Its not really just Aguero, or Silva's absence or Sane's absence or Mendy or Debryune's form. Its all of the above.

We have dropped form the last 3 games. Its all the players.

Some of it is due to teams realizing it is stupid to try to play us straight up or even to be slightly defensive.

There is 1 way to play us in the minds of most. Park the bus deep and stay that way. Then hope to nick something on set pieces.

And it has ruffled us a bit. We still don't have a good solution for it yet.

Hopefully we will eventually.. And our play will pick up

Pep rotating players is disruptive but essential with the amount of games we have ahead of us. Kun has two markers every game and is a proven goal scorer and legend. Don't give up on the kid, across the road they have a player who hasn't scored in 11 games and he isn't fit to lace Kuns boots, don't hear too many dissenters over there. Kun is king, wait for the derby.

There’s a bit of an elephant in the room with the whole Aguero situation. I fucking love the guy but he’s lost so, so much pace and is nowhere near as ruthless as what he once was. Still a fabulous player though.

This is where losing Mendy is going to affect us the most. We'd be playing a back 3 every game against these buses if Mendy was available. Could even imagine playing Fernandinho as part of that 3, to allow another midfielder. We'd swamp the middle with bodies, force them to defend narrower and narrower, or attack the right through Sterling, shift them over, then a quick switch to Mendy at the right moment to get behind them and drill a ball into Jesus/Aguero for a tap-in. If Sané had done a better job when tested at wing back, we'd be playing that already, imo.

I'd give him a 2/10 today. Yes its hard against a mass defence but ffs his movement is awful and makes it easy to defend.

There's no movement he can do that will compensate for the fact he's usually the only player in the box, up against 5 or 6 of theirs. He tried to find space by going wide or dropping deep but that just hurts us because we do need someone fixing the defenders there. It's a thankless job, but he's doing it well and I think that's why he's playing over Jesus every week these days.

As soon as Jesus came on, Aguero looked a lot more threatening as well, it's a tactical problem not an Aguero problem.

Jesus brings soooo much more to our play. Sane - Jesus - Sterling has to be our front three against the scum
