ah sorry, Team Sheet mate, wouldn't take much notice of it yet, its not Jose Alvarez who's saying it just his station..one of the journalists there, if it is true then no JFE i agree ;)
Id say its BS. City dont go after players that fuck up like that. But stranger things have happened.
if you have no other option and we need a cb and he fits the mold (can play lcb and lb ) why not put our pride aside and activate it... i mean the club wouldnt activate the clause without belief he will be signed at least from what ive heard Sam Lee saying over the summer..

According to Sam Lee. He literally had everything signed and ready to go ahead. Including a fee with Athletic. Literally on the 11th hour he rejected and changed his mind. Everything was booked in; Medicals, contracts all wrote up. Lot of leg work for the club who thought they had a player. He turned htem down really late in the window causing a huge waste of time for everyone involved and left us without a top tier CB that we really needed at the time.

Yeh i believe this was the 2016 summer window. We signed Stones a few weeks later. He only changed his mind because he got cold feet and as we all know City only want players that 100% want to be here thats why im a bit skeptical about him coming here, its an easy BS link for journalists because
1) we need a CB
2) We need a left footed CB
3) we need a long time pairing with stones who is a right footed CB
4) Its a link from the past so its easy to be "believable"
Ill wait for someone like Mullock, Blackburn, Sam Lee or Simon Stone to start reporting it.
