Dyche suggesting Pep doesn’t trust City youth. Comparing us to the ‘Sir Alex’ way. I used to quite like him, seems he’s a twat as well. Zinchenko, Tosin, Diaz and Foden prior to injury have all features and continue to feature. Clearly Burnley are giving youth a chance when they prefer to sign the likes of John Walters.

Sean Dyche says Pep Guardiola is no longer a champion of youth as he opts to spend on players instead ahead of the game tomorrow.

Surprised at SD saying this when everyone agrees Pep develops his players - disappointed in him.

And with Lennon he must think he’s starting a youth policy haha

He can do one for furthering that fucking myth. They had a great crop once in recent times and with the stranglehold they had on the league and it being less competitive they were able to fully realise their potential. For every Scholes, Beckham and STD breeding ground they have a Gibson, Cleverly and Chadwick.

Play them in a couple of games and stick a few extra million on their price tag so purplenose's lackeys at other clubs could buy them for rip off prices. The United Way™.
+1

Lot of kind a hostile reactions on here. What he says is not that far from the truth now is it? We do buy a lot, the academy hasn’t brought foreword that many players, and the PL has indeed changed compared to about 10 years ago. The question was not about Burnley but about City.

Anyways, it would be nice for a youngster like Diaz to come on and score a goal. Like it’s nice whoever player scores for us. And tbh I think we will win at Burnley. I doubt Burnley will defend deep as they are at home. If Laporte starts he will be a lot busier that Wednesday. But nothing to be worried about. I’m pretty confident.
You think Pep buys the finished article ?

Big thing is he develops every player. The obsession at times is on developing youth players and actually it’s far harder to develop experienced professionals and get them to make positive changes to their game.

What Dyche has said today about what Pep said in 2009 about not spending £50m on a Player was on that Goldbridge wankers twitter. Someone posted a link to it on here.

The quote is nearly 10 years old £50m then was a huge amount.
Maybe Dyche follows Goldbridge on Twitter? Lol.

Dyche has had a purple patch. Within the next 2 seasons he will relegate them and be out of a job. Looking forward to that

If I may stick my oar in - first, Burnley do have six first XI players out injured - Heaton (goal) Ward (LB) Tarkowski (CB) Defour (CM) Brady (wing) Wood (CF). That's about £40m of talent missing, or more than half the cost of our total squad. But most of them were injured when we narrowly lost to Liverpool and Man Ure, so we can cope.

Second, our form's actually been quite good. No wins in nine? The three at home were Spurs (poor 0-3 performance), Liverpool (1-2, last minute winner) Man Ure (0-1, even game) and the five away league games had 4 draws including Man Ure. You were the only side to tub us, in the cup, and that was competitive for much of the game.

Third. why the obsession with Burnley being a dirty side? Has someone said it once upon a time many moons ago, and no-one dares contradict? The last time Burnley had more bookings in the league than Man City was 2012-13, pre-Dyche, and even in the seasons when we played 46 and you played 38 you still managed more bookings. We've had 7 sent off in 5 years, and one of those was for the goalkeeper picking up a back pass. Not a dirty side.

Perhaps drop the entire 1st team and name a squad of Burnleys finest academy products - oh thought not! Another complete idiot of a manager making excuses for his teams poor performance

His twitter account is hilarious. The bellend made up another account as a women to big himself up, loser.

Looked completely unphased and actually very comfortable dealing with Sandwell Towns best ... not on the face of it difficult as they totally failed to pick on the new guy -probably due to the fact they were totally unable to get the ball from the usual suspects...
