Watching our matches on TV see how long it takes the commentator to mention Utd, they must be in a competition with each other , it varies between 1min to 10 min
Ian darke did it as the players were leaving the tunnel on Tuesday night. Didnt even have the decency to wait til kick off

Win our next three and we topple their treble winning total with 8 games to go!

Ah but according to McClaren, they were working so hard battling each other in training, & their training games were the best quality & most intense games he saw them play, what with Scholesy vs Roy Keane, Gary Neville etc . And they were doing this at 10 a.m. sharp every morning, even after flying home from european games.

So they probably had to take their foot off the gas a bit in the Prem, or their training games would have suffered.

Talking about GMR what has happened to Andy Buckley, recently we have had Jack Deardan doing the commentary the City matches and he is awful to sat the least.

You forgot to mention they did all this for free.

I think we need a table showing first rag mention in each game and who was commentating. I always joke with friends Tyler will mention them within 5min in any of our games.

And it’s always ‘Manchester United’ whereas they always refer to us just as ‘City’.

Liberties considering we’re the only club actually based in Manchester.

I quite enjoy it though. The desperation to keep plugging them into people’s subconscious is breathtaking.

He hasn't been on TV much lately so it's easy forgot what a total moron Steve McLaren is. He also made a fool of himself (not for the first time) when he described Pogba's performances for the Rags before he got injured this season as "magnificent." There seems to be a collective madness in the media about Pogba's so-called ability. He has scored three goals from 23 appearances (Swansea, West Ham, and Newcastle) He has nine assists, all against struggling teams (including Arsenal at the time). According to Transfermarkt his perfomances have been hugely inferior to his fellow midfielders; Lingard, Mata, Marital, and even the much-criticised Rashford. The fact that Mclaren was once England manager tells you everything about the quality of coaching in this country.

yes but he is better than our Kev. The shit some of them spout is unreal. Even going of his assists, how many out of this world passes did he do compared to Kev. The commentators would have probably creamed at the pog doing a 10 yd standard pass. Fuckwits the lot of them.

Pogba's coverage is a bit like Beckham isn't it. The less he plays the better he gets.
I enjoyed George Best (who was true world class) when he was asked a question: "Is Beckham world class?" His response was: "He can't head a ball, he can't tackle or play with his left foot. Apart from that he's world class."

Listening to Mclaren last night on Sky it was like a promo for yooonited , every other subject was turned round to the Rags especially 1999 , and Pogba being magnificent before his injury only proves if you tell a lie often enough some people will begin to believe it.

Obvious thinks he might be in with a shout when PEG leaves. Come to think of it he might :)

Mclaren said Pogba was a young player who still had a lot to learn. FFS he is 25 next month. He is a million miles away from world class. David Silva has 125 caps for Spain, one World Cup, two Euros, two Premier Leagues, two League Cups, one FA Cup and a Spanish Cup. That's world class.

Rubbish, everybody knows Silva won't be able to handle the Premier League, he's too lightweight.

McClaren also said Aguero hasn't been playing as much this season because he doesn't do the defensive work that Pep wants.

I am now just assuming McClaren has managed to avoid watching any football so far this season.
