Last time we started with Fernandinho, Gundogan, De Bruyne and Silva together was the Carabao Cup final I think, and it didn't work particularly well then until Guardiola changed it after the break.
Just thinking about that, I would've just swapped Bernardo for Sterling and that's it.

Not a fan of the line-up tbh. Lose legs in midfield with Gundogan therefore lose control in midfield, lose width with no Sterling & Laporte up against Salah is naturally a little spooky.

But hey ho, can't really doubt Pep.

Their bench is fairly poor if it doesn't go well for them.

All about surviving the first 45 mins, if we're not behind by then I fancy a win.

I think the packing of the midfield will limit the supply to Salah.

Never has. Gives the illusion that we should dominate midfield, but in reality we lose legs as Gundogan is half as hard working as Silva/De Bruyne & then crams up our play forcing someone outwide who is usually more effective centrally.

Guess the hope is it gives us enough bodies to nullify them at the start as they'll likely be pretty pumped & hectic from the kick off. Personally would've stuck to what works & have faith we're the better side & it would've shown.

We dominate with our usual 3, we usually seem less dominant when these 4 all play somehow - we'll definitely need to double up on Salah when he's on the ball.
