You have to wonder if you were in his shoes would you be looking to move abroad to give yourself breathing space. I hope this doesn't happen as I believe he is on the verge of becoming world class but it wouldn't surprise me if he did.

LIstening to Shearer yesterday pick his team for the Tunisia game and you can tell Sterling is already being set up as the fall guy. He picked him in his 11 but then went on to say that since he's been given the vote of confidence over Rashford he HAS to perform. He went on to repeat it again and whilst I agree in some respect that Sterling needs to perform surely that goes for everyone?? Why should Lingard and Ali get a free pass?

What is it about Sterling that makes him the guy to get at? Is it just because he would be keeping Rashford out?

They all want Rashford in over him, listening to the 5Live commentary for the last 2 friendlies while watching on TV was appalling, they just don't represent what's going on at all. Sterling had a fantastic game and they'd just not mention things he did, unless it was a negative.
