Oo, he can head a ball that Maguire lad. Quote from Mourinho apparently.

Maureen currently has a team following Southgate round to try and understand how to win on set pieces without any other tactics.

Leicester should take anything in the region of £65m if they start the bidding there. Snap their fucking hand off before someone at the club realises just what money they would be spending and on who.

Now now now, hang on a minute here, this is Edwood Woodwood they're dealing with. The correct response to an offer of £65m is to say you wouldn't accept £100m, at which stage he'll offer £120m, to scare off imaginary competitors. Then you say £160m wouldn't be enough...

Love it. Buying a guy after a good world cup, the behaviour of a team that really has it's shit together

Gotta say they have fuck all transfer planning
Fred Sanchez throw wads if cash
Re sign fellaini, omg
McGuire based on World Cup

They are a mess of a club

Plus the leg room in that Bobby whatever his name is stand. It is horrendous for anyone who is over 5 feet tall........I know I watched a Rolling Stones concert earlier this summer there....thank fook everyone stood up as soon as the gig started. What a shit hole of a ground they have!!!

Maguire is a decent defender, but their signings lack so much imagination. Martial was the last truly bold signing they made iirc.

Edit: you could count Pogba as bold, but for different reasons.
Bold as in "bad boy Eddie, don't nick Daddy's wallet and spend it all on fertiliser"?

Been saying it for a while, Gill was the bigger loss than the GPC.
I’d agree with that in the last few years. Fair play to Taggart though: he had a seriously dodgy period on the transfer market after the CL win in 1999, (some of those purchases I’ve always had questions around) but then he pulled it back around 2005 (I’m guessing) with some great signings.

Camel gob, Shrek, Fake, right before that and then the nuts and bolts of his CL winning team after that.
