So many possibilities....

I think a statue of him, Aguero and Kompany would be better. Those 3 are all on the same level of legend status for me (i.e above everyone in the modern era) in terms of what they've done for the club and deserve to be honoured equally. I consider David to be the best player of the 3 but I reckon the man himself might think naming a stand to be a bit OTT

You’re so posh these days you won’t even do it yourself!

Now, about honouring David: I have been advocating for a statue for him for sometime.

Lately, I have had this silly idea that the club should look at the celebrations right after the 93:20 moment from the regular broadcast camera angle, and take a snapshot at the moment Kun is swinging his shirt in the air and running down touch. They should then note the relative positions and celebration postures of David, Vinny, and Joe (David running arms in the air above him, Vinny doing his low clinched fist stride with intense mouth-gapping scream, Joe trying to achieve sufficient lift to take off in to the sky on the other side of the pitch). They would then commission slightly oversized (perhaps 1.5x) statues of all four of them in those celebrations with the statues spaced apart in their relative positions to Kun at that moment, so you could walk through one of the greatest moments in our club’s history, honouring some of the best players ever to grace it. They could have it between the stadium and the store (likely to the right of where they put up the stage for City Square, as you are looking at the stadium) so nearly everyone, lifelong supporter and tourist alike, walked through it at some point.

As I said, a bit silly, and will most certainly not be what the club decide to do, but it is what’s been stuck in my mind as of late (god knows the missus has heard me describe to other blues enough times that some might think it already exists).
That would be fantastic.

Excellent idea

Shakes head.

Gerrard won a champs league on his jack , remind me who played 4 them horrible ****s the night they won it for the 5th time

Silva was great today the ball to Sterling when he hit the crossbar and the ball juggling was something else

Aguero stand?
David Silva stand?
Vinny Kompany stand?
Zabaleta stand?
Fernandinho stand?
My point is I dont think we can do that, one over another like that cant be done. If we want to be classy, it should be the Mateo Silva stand

Only Aguero there mentioned is in the same bracket.

Silva is the greatest City player ever but Aguero is a close 2nd.

There’s a big drop off to Colin Bell from there.

I can only imagine that there's a point in there somewhere.
Not sure what it has to do with David Silva though.

A minimal word reply and misdirection. Called a “plonker” by another which is just plain pathetic.

Silva is no more or less of a vital player over the seasons than Aguero, Kompany, Zabaleta and one or two others. We’re a team and singling one out for a stand name is wrong.

There were no comparable heroes after Colin Bell which is why he got one.

Is he as good as Zidane or Iniesta? Silva is a great footballer and one of the best in a Blue shirt; but that’s as far as it goes.

Arsenal haven’t got a stand named after Wright, Adams, Henry or Vieira.
