Had to laugh on Saturday. The guy next to me always come back late at half time etc. On Saturday he missed the 3rd goal. He sits down and says f..k me we scored thought it was kick off after half time. :)
I thought it looked particularly bad this week.Don’t get it how so many people can leave half the stadium is empty by time the whistle has blown. Always stay till the end no matter what. You would think we lose most game the way people leave.

Why is it so hard to believe that people will leave a game that had been over for 45 minutes, and had become an experimental, and rather boring training session ? (and yes I was there to applaud them off.)Don’t get it how so many people can leave half the stadium is empty by time the whistle has blown. Always stay till the end no matter what. I’m with you on this, in particular for matches on a weekend, what’s the mad rush? Some I appreciate may have evening jobs or child care issues but pretty sure for many it’s just them wanting to get a few extra pints in.Don’t get it how so many people can leave half the stadium is empty by time the whistle has blown. Not turn up because we never won, not turn up because we always win...hmmmmm strangeI think the traditional 3pm Sat games are now becoming the exact opposite of what they once were. The thing is now that TV takes all the "bigger" games with a sprinkling of the others for alternative ko's. For a lot of fans Sat 3pm is now a bit of an inconvenience rather than the preferred ko time that it once was. Supporters are thinking " not too bothered about going,it's only Fulham etc" and then depart early because we're generally winning. It's strange because people used to not turn up because we were shite, now we're a great team they expect us to win and can't be arsed coming or leave 15 mins early.
I'm just at the Football Museum and they've got Sky Sports on the TV's in the bar. Just shown the Fulham game highlights and the South Stand was more than half empty with a few minutes to go. That's supposed to be our most loyal hard-core support and most had gone before the end. Could barely believe it.I thought it looked particularly bad this week.
I've never quite managed to get my head around this, I go to watch and support City not the opposition and while certain matches - derbies, title/relegation deciders - obviously have an additional attraction it's never been a decisive factor in whether I attend or not.Supporters are thinking " not too bothered about going,it's only Fulham etc"
Everyone has times when they are ill or cannot make it or as you say “Shit happens”. Hope you feel better now fella.I missed the game due to labrynthitis and could not get rid of my ticket. Shit happens.
Well that is/has been the mentality of some of our supporters because I've heard it said, and I won't be on my own. In fact I bet there's people who use this forum who could say "yeah I' m one of them".Not turn up because we never won, not turn up because we always win...hmmmmm strange
Different debate than the leaving early one, but this confuses and worries me, regarding getting tickets. As promised.
No seats in Colin Bell, level 3, according to the ticket office on Saturday.
Lucky I didn't ask for a level 2 seat. :-?
If the Fulham match was sold out, my name is Sheikh Mansour.
Not caught on camera. East stand, level 2, a large block of empty seats just out of picture, to the right of the shot.
Tumbleweeds rolling through the corporate boxes in the East Stand.

Nice photos JRB, but I don't think they show a big problem at all. Rather than swathes of empty seats they show a small number in the corporate hospitality area which is hardly a surprise for a fixture against Fulham. Not ideal, but I bet if you took same photo at Wembley, Anfield, Emirates, OT etc for same fixture you'd find similar problem. If you hve corporate hospitality seating, accept that they are going to pick and choose their games. As promised.

I am more interested in the Lyon game as a bellweather. Hoping for 50k to match last season (Napoli)
I really think it's disrespectful to our players (owners, Pep and staff) when the final whistle goes and they look around to see an half empty stadium.Don’t get it how so many people can leave half the stadium is empty by time the whistle has blown. Always stay till the end no matter what. You would think we lose most game the way people leave.
Wait and see. This happens every season. Dire warnings of an empty ground, and it's always OK.that wont happen as 3rd tier in both east colin and south not open, that is from yesterday
