I still can't shake this "feels like a defeat" feeling.

well that doesn't bode well for the rest of the season then, knackered after the first set of 3 games in a weekI’d like to think that too but having played three really tough games prior to today probably had a bearing on their fatigue levels.
Pep didn't know about his record. He was interviewed and admitted it. So it was a slight oversight but it doesn't matter that much as we are now in the driving seat
I agree, I don't mind admitting though i have kittens when he plays LB
Still doesn't change the jist of what I said!!Pep told Mahrez to take it

American here, no clue what "having kittens" means, but I assume it means you are nervous/untrusting. Which I totally agree with.
Take a look at the league table ; )Me to jim
It was pep who insisted on Mahrez taking the pen so that’s embarrassed all you who slated him for insisting on pinching it!!!Mahrez just humilated himself
Yeah but whereas we had Brighton at home and mid table Hoffenheim on a Tuesday, they had Chelsea away and Napoli on Wednesday. Different energy levels required.we

That's the sad part, he didn't want to step up. Even after Mendy came rushing with the instructions. You can see Mahrez pointing to Jesus, as if he was saying 'but Jesus wants to take it." Then Mendy literally pushed him towards the ball. He then almost apologetically points to the bench as he approached Gabby.will never criticize a player for wanting to step up in that situation. Not everyone would. Just a bad penalty.
Excellent team performance and this kind of organisation in a hostile environment fills me with confidence for CL knockout ties. The boys are maturing.

Wow that's surprising. The most prepared manager in the world doesn't know who can take pens and who cant. I guess nobody is perfect. Pep is pretty damn close though!
Ain't that the truth. I happen to agree. Mahrez is a good player, just not sure why we signed him.Still doesn't change the jist of what I said!!
That's funny - I teach over here in the US and I occasionally use English expressions that no one gets! The most recent was "donkey's years". They don't know "cockwomble" either, but I mostly use that one when I'm playing footy.American here, no clue what "having kittens" means, but I assume it means you are nervous/untrusting. Maybe re David but at least the keeper would have had to make a save. I reckon Eddie would put a keeper in the back of the net given how hard he can hit a ball! Now that the heart rate has come down and my arse has stopped twitching, still top of the league and that's 1 pt up on last season.
