When we were in the third tier in the days I used to get the bus home from the pub, in winter I used to wear my City hat for a bit of warmth. Just a plain black hat with the City badge on the front. The amount of shit I got from rags on the way home, in the take away as soon as they spotted the hat was incredible. Bear in mind we were light years away from them then and never looked like matching them but boy did they love to rub it in and dance in glee at how shit we were. Not one of them knew me I was just a bloke on his own going home minding my own business. While I see and understand a bit of what you say they have had it coming they really have.

Never give them an inch I remember going to a game when we were back in division 2 and was walking down Oldham Street in my City shirt. I was only 16 at the time and I had 4 pissed up 40 year old rags come out of a pub giving me shit, trying to spit at me and one threw a cig lighter at me. A horrible shit stain of a club and the reasons why the lemmings who follow them is everything we detest as blues.

Give it to them tenfold as they can give it out but the shit houses go running when its time for them to take their medicine.

Don’t always agree with Tom, I agree though. Best way to piss off our evil cousins is to simply ignore them or poke a little fun at the right time with the right people.

Happy to give them shit on here, or in a WhatsApp group or stadium but not on the streets.

If we beat United in a few weeks I imagine nothing more would get them wound up than a chorus of ‘don’t sack Mourinho’.

No it isn't. They were essentially bullying when we shit, attacking us unprovoked when we'd done absolutely nothing to deserve it. Now we've got bigger than them and are giving them the good kicking their bullying rightly deserves.
 
We are starting to loose sight of the thread. Getting to be like the booing thread. Do we give them grief up close and personal? Yes - no they did it to us etc. Give it a rest guys. Give the rags a hard time if you want by all means but please don’t come on here to justify or not every post.

I remember showing my colours in a pub full of their lot celebrating their first league title in 26 years back in 1993. Not that I’m blowing my own trumpet or ‘owt but when it comes to acts of defiance someone showing his colours in a fucking shoe shop the day after a CL group game defeat doesn’t even come close.

I’ll also add that the poster you were responding to is one of the wittiest blues on here - calling him out for poking a bit of fun at our neighbours is a bit shabby IMO.

If I ever begin to feel the slightest bit of sympathy for them,I just picture, that obnoxious cnut, Terry Christian’s ugly mug in my minds eye and realise that, however much stick we dish out now, it isn’t even one tenth of what the arrogant b*st*rds deserve

Rags going on about Mourinho not being backed in the summer is a prime example of a glory hunter who can’t think for themselves! Mourinho has spent 400m 80m in the summer if he wanted Maguire that badly why did he buy Fred instead or does even Mourinho believe the rags got an endless supply of money.
