with 9 games in Dec its vital that he is up to speed for that period. our competitive advantage is in our depth and we should see a lot of rotation over that period with all main 16 or so players getting plenty of game time. hopefully the chasing pack will lose a few silly points here and there due to the congestion and we can build a buffer to cover any unexpected losses

Be great addition to the league cup team!
At the moment no one deserves dropping
Kdb Gundogan sane Jesus and Foden
What a bench we have!
No one deserves dropping but several deserve to be starting games. Diaz Danny Lowe and Zinchenko have all played really well recently. Kompany and Otamendi don't much of a sniff at the moment but would be regular starters for most other teams in this league.

Actually if laporte or Stones gets injured , kompany is a regular again. Don't write him off, yet.

Love the guy but all good things come to an end yaya, ,zabba, and unfortunately komps I know he may come in for cover concerning injuries but his finished now pal. Hope when he does finish properly the club finds him something in the club. His legendary status will be here forever

With the team playing so absolutely brilliant without him for most of the season, I think it's reassuring that we've got a fantastic replacement for Ferdy if he gets injured, allowing the rest to carry on what they've been doing. I don't mean it in a derogatory manner, because Kev's the best in the world at what he does. It's just nice to know we've got cover for Ferdy from a world class player. And when Ferdy is fit and playing, then Kev will be terrorising teams in the manner we've come accustomed too. The future is blue :)

Back in full training next week and likely to be on the bench against West Ham according to the Metro.

Good stuff. Saw a video of the changing room after the derby and felt sorry for him that he wasn't involved.
