Regarding Milner, I was watching the pre-match warm up and he over-stretched during the keep-ball session and picked up a slight injury. He was holding his calf for a while, but it was clearly OK to continue. Whether he started to feel it again during the 2nd half and that's why he went off, I don't know.

The bloke behind us called the Milner substitution.

He said, "Jimmy just came over and had a word with Pellegrini, I reckon he's injured".

And so it proved to be.

Milner did touch his groin area a couple of minutes before going off, don't know if it was an injury or if he was just rearranging himself

What seems to have been overlooked is Silvas run across the path of the ball opening up that couple of yards of space for navas to play the ball into. Brilliant little run.

Yes I did and to be fair the guy(number 2) followed him around all second half so Silva was clever knowing he would just follow him, great move.

:D Quality move from Silva indeed, Negredo was holding one of the defenders as well. They all improvised at that moment so Edin scored.

It was a vital goal. But ''quality''? No. It was a simple finish after a very good ''pick out'' by Navas.

He could have blazed it over the bar like Sterling did a few days earlier from closer to goal. Give the man some credit for finding the back of the net.

Clever movement to create space, and a first time well placed shot. It was a good goal.

Thought he had a goodish game as he was on his own up front for most of the game which meant that he had 2 central defenders looking after him. He also did well for the Fernandinho shot in the 1st half, and did well with a late header that drifted over the bar.

Not seeing much injury news - so that's good news. Quite a few of our rivals have picked up injuries this weekend
