Like this by Lovren on Kun??TBF, if any one of them had committed that same tackle Vinnie did on any of ours. most would be screaming for a red. Vinnie was lucky imo
Nothing at all like that, Vinnie went in studs up and out of controlLike this by Lovren on Kun??

It's usually posted in here but I cannot find it. Anyone have a link to the game from last night?
Lovren's was never a red mate, Vinny's was borderline. IMHOErr, Lovren had no intention of playing the ball and hacked Aguero down from behind. It was at least as dangerous if not worse, I thought at the time he was lucky to escape with a yellow for that.
I agree it was a deliberate foul but at worse a yellow. Not as dangerous in terms of being out of control. Im simply stating that if the boot were on the other foot blues would re rightly screaming a red card all dayErr, Lovren had no intention of playing the ball and hacked Aguero down from behind. LolYou are correct that they are completely different. Lovren actually made contact with Aguero. Vinnie just took the ball.

I agree Vinny was trying to get the ball and Lovren was trying to stop Sergio. They are separate incidents and have to be treated as such.Vinny was making a genuine attempt to play the ball. All this talk of scissors and studs up means little when there is barely any contact, used less force than Lovren too
I remember that incident now. Nothing was caught on camera as the ball moved on but Bernardo was in a heap. No replays no nothing.Indeed it was.
There was also a potentially untidy incedent between Van Dijk and Bernardo toward the end of the game that never got a replay or mention. In fact, the NBCSN commentators seemed to go completely silent after merely calling out that Bernardo had gone to ground after running by Van Dijk.
Looked to me like Van Dijk, presumably out of frustration from being harried/bullied by Bernie throughout the match, swung out his elbow as Bernie was finishing his press of the Dutch **** and running by to yet again press Lovren, who was then receiving the ball.
No mention of it in postmatch analysis, of course, and I am sure Taylor and the PL will say there is nothing to review.
Quite. No attempt for get the ball at all. Could have been a red. But like Kompany, it wasn't quite enough for a red. It was borderline wreckless though.Vinny was making a genuine attempt to play the ball. All this talk of scissors and studs up means little when there is barely any contact, used less force than Lovren too
Anyone got a clip of the Vinnie tackle? From where I sit in 305 row E it looked like a very good, clean tackle.
I'm shocked Mane stayed on his feet long enough to put his tail between his legs.Anyone noticed mane the stinky skunk poor attempt to choke ferny in the opening first half? He quickly realized who he was dealing with and shoved his tail between his legs .

How can you say he used less force?
