Never a fan but played when obviously not fit at Wimbledon & was probably the worst decision he could have ever made.

Its maybe that bit sooner than you hoped......but happy retirement Andy.

Gutted for him,just when he'd finally reached number 1 after so many years battling against 3 of the all time greats he go that injury whilst favourite for a 3rd Wimbledon. Fantastic career though and what heart he showed throughout it.

How’s it such a shame? Ok he can never play his sport professionally but he’s retired mid 30s, a millionaire and it’s not as if he’ll down the brew Monday morning, wish it was me

I have a lot of time for him, he's a nice lad. Been saying for a while he should retire, after his hip operation hadn't fully worked.

A truly great sportsman. Played when the best player ever was around, and Nadal and Djokovic aren't duck eggs.
