Tinfoil hat suits youAs I was saying, full of shit.

Eh? I was talking about Walker.
Because he (rightfully) won’t be the focus of most post-match analysis, I just wanted to say that he is becoming one of my favourite players.
I think all are down to the situation in the match, though. I very much doubt he commits all of them if we aren’t in a dominant position. And none of them were “Walker”-class mistakes.Did well today and runs his socks off every game. Three mistakes today: cross-field ball out of play, a throw in to the middle of the park that was overly powerful and gave possession away, and a reverse pass in our defending third that conceded possession. His mistakes seem to be when he tries something harder than necessary.

Something to work on to be sure, but his overall contribution to our play (including directly to two goals, and indirectly for a third), far outweighs those minor mistakes. And it wasn’t all at LB!
Already did against Liverpool ?Agree, but he’ll make such mistakes at any time; he has a wee habit of losing patience and forcing the issue rather than waiting a second and seeing what else develops. The interesting decision will come next month when Mendy is fit and Guardiola has to choose who starts at right-back in a key game.

My point was when both Walker and Danilo were fit, Danilo was picked against Liverpool. In the more recent game, yes, but when Mendy was fit earlier in the campaign, Walker and he were chosen, with Danilo on the bench.
On the basis Mendy is on the left then, I hope he does too - Walker needs some time outMy point was when both Walker and Danilo were fit, Danilo was picked against Liverpool.
Must be due to Walker's (lack of) form.
I think he will do that again vs Chelsea and Arsenal.

Tbf it'll probably just be down to what the best setup is for the opponent's we're facing, knowing Pep.Fair enough, but my point was about when Mendy is fit, and whether Guardiola will go with two more attacking fullbacks, or take the more conservative option and play Walker and Mendy.
That's exactly how I see it.Tbf it'll probably just be down to what the best setup is for the opponent's we're facing, knowing Pep.
