Edit: mind you, I thought the same about young CriRo, but he has somehow managed to become an incredible goalscorer.

Were you saying that last Thursday?
He was left out for players in worse form at his boyhood club, came on and changed the game. Yet is back the bench for players in worst form for the cup final.
Worked hard again last night, things just weren't going his way. In 21 starts in the PL & CL he has, 11 goals and 10 assists. Yet he's the one left out. He's outperforming De Bruyne & D Silva by some distance currently, yet is missing out in huge games. No wonder he's a little unhappy.
Sané over the season is pretty much out performing Sterling, who is rightly being lauded. Sterling is on 14 goals & 10 assists from 29 CL & PL starts.
They should both be starting when fit.
Bernardo!!!!! David!!!! Fernandihno!!!! Aguero!!!! Kompany!!!!Zaba!!!!! Kevin!!!!!This is bullshit, and you only need to look through our squad to know it.
Those two have dropped more serious bollocks in recent games alone, than Sané has since we signed him, but are beyond reproach.
Jesus christ why?! How can anyone have watched last night's game and not immediately thought "Ah yeah that's why Pep has preferred Sterling and Bernardo on the wings."
I really felt for the lad when he was left out for Schalke. When he came on and transformed the game, I thought, great. Lad deserves to start in the cup final. Left out again. Not for players in form but way out of form.
Currently Bernardo & Sterling are being moved to accommodate and under performing Kev and tired looking David. And Sané is being left out all together.
I'll be honest, I've got no answer in how to get Silva & De Bruyne back in the groove.
Your first paragraph is fucking laughable.I'm hoping Silva is struggling due to fatigue, as you say, or injury. Otherwise it's all over for him.
KDB probably just needs time. Some of his passes last night were superb, but some of the mistakes both are making, are pretty awful & quite commonplace right now.
Sané doesn't deserve to be singled out for any negative comments, by comparison.
Your first paragraph is fucking laughable.
It certainly won’t be a surprise to see him make fools out of some of the wannabe football oracles we have on this forum.
Sane has been pretty fucking poor for a while and a fantastic free kick doesn’t change that.
Great player, shite attitude. I’d take a poorly performing Silva giving it everything over a sulking Sane who goes into a shell when it’s not going for him every day of the week.
“It’s all over for him” Haha! A below average couple of months is all it takes to come out with this shite?
He was up there with our best performers prior to his injury that kept him out.I didn't say that.
I said IF his current standard is something other than fatigue or injury THEN it's all over for him.
As the 3rd option would be: he's past it.
He was up there with our best performers prior to his injury that kept him out.
He’s not been great since returning although nowhere near as bad as being painted on here. You don’t become past it in two months when you’ve got the ability that he has and don’t rely on power or pace.
You’re not the first to suggest it and probably won’t be the last but everyone who does are overreacting horribly.

Yeah you keep banging on about his numbers but his overall performances when actually picked haven’t been anything to shout about."Poor for a while" is pretty laughable. His numbers are outstanding this season. He's incredibly dangerous. His dip in form coincides with that of those behind him & us playing Bernardo on the right. Narrowing our own attacking options and playing with less pace does not help Leroy.

He is incredibly dangerous, no doubts about it. He has more natural ability than most of our squad and with the right application could go on to be one of the best in the world. This season has seen him regress a little from last year though and padding his stats doesn’t change that for me.
Maybe there’s some truth in his form dipping due to those behind him seeing a dip also yet it seems like a convenient excuse when you factor in the season Sterling is having (yeah I know, Sane has great numbers as well)
The fact is if he hadn’t been poor for a while he’d be getting a lot more game time than he’s been seeing.
