There you go.

A nice link to the Daily Mirror article about how we hindered the development Denis Suarez

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/man-city-clause-hindered-denis-14060482

I won't comment, I'll let you read it & give us your description of what you think the purpose of this is.

That’s pathetic, particularly the line about Barcelona feeling forced to make continued payments. Same club that spends more than most on players. If the lad cannot settle and play at 4 clubs, it says more about him than any contract between clubs.

I didn't watch it.

I watched the 1st half of the wimmins game, recorded motd, fast forward past the rag shite to watch City highlights, then watched the 2nd half.

That's because unlike all these rag & scouse supporting media people, who are completely neutral when it comes to City, & never intentionally shit on us, I have an agenda against Utd.

I really can't stand the ****s. (or Liverpool).

Good man, Nev. I wouldn't watch it. Mrs Ewing asked this morning if I wanted MotD on. I'm not watching the Rags. It might be you. I can watch on 'ere, pointing to my phone!

Mods: a favour. Can we have a media thread which just reports what the media is saying and writing about us, and another which is about the "agenda"?

I would just really love to be able to read about our media coverage without being exposed to people's self pitying tropes about the international conspiracy against city and how no one appreciates us.

You could always fuck off and read news now

Ahh, but if you worked for, let's say. The Sun newspaper, & I worked for, let's say the Mirror, we would both be professional enough to be completely neutral whenever we covered Manchester Utd & not try to shit all over them from a great height, at all & appeal to our fellow City types, when we got the chance.

Because we would be part of Her Majesty's press, & that would be completely beneath us, as we would be duty bound, on the sports pages, to live up to the high standards of honest, unbiased, neutral, non agenda, reporting, we see on the front pages & in the middle.

You. Fucking. What. ?

Lol. I watched with a United fan at his house so normally would not bother. Southampton’s first goal alone made it a worthwhile watch. I was very drunk though! I didn’t even know the score whilst watching it as I went out straight after City’s game.

Nev, you might work for The Mirror after yer'd 'ad a few, but I'd never work for The Sun, unless it was in the capacity of slicing each page into quarters and sticking it onto a nail in a public toilet. But then I'd probably be working for the local council!

Why don't you just visit the various media outlets to see for yourself what the coverage is like. There will be nothing there to get steamed up about.

It was 3-2 a 5 goal thriller and some cracking goals, this is the problem with "the agenda" some people look for anything to claim an agenda where there isn't one
Which is why the impartial ,independent, bbc choose utd fa cup ties as their live match, every single time, and have done for the last decade.

Here you go. Our local paper, the MUEN.

City go back top, 2 points clear of Liverpool, 11 points clear of United, another clean sheet, the opposition no shots on goal, etc, etc, but MUEN Sport leads with a small United headline and article, followed closely by a large United headline and story, followed by a small United headline and story....., keep on scrolling, carry on scrolling....., and you will eventually get to 2 small City headlines and article's.

After the Schalke game BTs "expert referee" analyst (their words not mine) Peter Walton claimed the Fernandinho penalty was the correct call despite 2 Schalke players being offside , stating that they couldnt be offside since they didnt play the ball ? seemed a bit strange to me since you regularly see the offside flag go up before the ball is played.
Today in the Spurs v Arsenal game , Harry Kane won a penalty despite being offside , Peter Walton BTs "expert analyist" argued that the ref had got it wrong this time and it shouldnt have been a penalty because Kane was offside...Clearly Walton still harbours anti City bias , even now hes a pundit , his record when reffing City games was shady bordering on corrupt ..
It isnt bordering on anything. The man is an out and out cheat. More of a cheat than Clattenburg and thats saying something.

You can’t escape it on this site. Somewhere in every thread it pops up.

I spotted the double standard too.

Well, I could, but I would like to read city news in the company of Blues. I live in Scotland so there aren't many blues about. So most of my chat with fellow blues is on this site. But all the media discussion is donated by this agenda. And. It's. So. Fucking. BORING.

But it's clearly a big thing for some blues - fine, each to their own. I'm just asking for an agenda-free zone on here, too.

So you want to pick and choose what bits of the media to discuss? Seems legit.

Edit.

Sorry i forgot to add "sniff "

I’m just fucking stunned a Trump hasn’t been mentioned yet.

Mainly people moaning about people expressing their opinion.
That’s the BM tag line.......

It’s fun actually. Go onto the Trump thread and just write something vaguely complimentary, it’s piss funny.
