I believe we do have the widest white line markings in world football though. You forgot claiming that united having an injury crisis in the first half prevented them playing.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1915_British_football_betting_scandalThis match fixing game between Mufc - lfc,
I thought, the whole Utd team got sine die, but it was rescinded after ww1, because they all joined up, apart from one player, he was killed in action and is still has that slur against his name to this day. Sandy Turnbull maybe his name.
I do feel for turnbull and his family, he was a good player for city too, until the fa had us over.
I think the exact opposite. No one should be able to force a player to play for a country. It should be completely voluntary and players should be encouraged to always put themselves and their club’s interest first (because that’s were their wages come from).I meant I would like FIFA to bring in a law that if a player misses an international (or two), he should be banned from his club's next game automatically.
Totally agree, the less international football the better. The number of meaningless games is totally out of hand and if fifa get their way club football would be played in the internaional close season.I think the exact opposite. Imagine if you were obliged to join a national association for whatever your job is. And then let the media tear you apart. And let nationalism flourish with you as a figurehead.
International football is a scourge on the sport imo.
Scouse Liverpool fan in “I like Scouse Liverpool fans” exclusive.
Words fail me......
“I know there are a few aggressive fans” classic understatement.
Best yet was when he said the fans felt castigated for Heysel - good grief.
They are fkn special alright!!!in their own words...from rawk
Personally to me it doesn't matter whether or not the majority want us to win or not. But as far as English media, English pundits, English fans or even fans who support English clubs, the vast majority want City to win because City winning doesn't have any significance, everyone knows they're a foreign government sponsored side with endless amounts of money ala PSG. However us winning it, would potentially, be a sign of things to come, and no one wants to see a dethroned King rise back up. We're a special club, for multiple reasons, but winning would the league would be a boost for us for all the obvious reasons and they don't want to deal with that.
Well they have tried every other dirty trick in the book to get their hands on the title, might as well hope our players get career ending injuries as wellLiverpool fan response to horror tackle on Sane

How would that be policed? What if a player pulls out through compassionate grounds for example?I meant I would like FIFA to bring in a law that if a player misses an international (or two), he should be banned from his club's next game automatically.
Surely a wind up remarkAlso dropped out of the league cup.
Small minded club.
Squad depth? Thought everyone had a 25 man squad, so same depth
It's funny how all of our players are shit but they wish injuries on them because they're good enough to affect games.Liverpool fan response to horror tackle on Sane
