He`s played as a DM for them a couple of times. Would be interesting to see if he could play that role for us if Mendy could stay injury free for a long time

The pass to Sterling towards the edge of the box was sublime. That's a KDB type pass. It seems simple but very few players see that pass. Let alone a "fullback".
As he grows more comfortable with his new position, his attacking play will go up another level I reckon.
Less (over)thinking about his positioning and defensive duties means more brain power for killer passes like the one last night.

Tbh, on performances over the last two years, it would be Mendy about whom you would have far greater concerns!
