If they win today they are past the 40 point mark. That will make it easier. The key thing is we are miles better than all of the sides we have left to face. Spurs will be the hardest one for me
I think Pep will try and win the CL tie in the first game away itself, then rotate for the second leg at home just before the league game at home ... that’s the way to manage those three games against spurs ... no point trying to come back with game in balance or a a single away goal advantage etc ... just for them in first leg, have it won then rotate and have fresh players go back again in the league ... if second leg is in balance we end up playing full strength first team for that midweek, and having to go full length at full speed to win that, it will show its effects in the league game against the same opponent a few days later ...
