No, it’s opinion.... the guy embodies the battery within the team, goes under the radar constantly.

Absolutely and the other bit of good news on the night, the return of Fernandinho for the final push in all competitions. On balance, even with the Zinchenko news, this is a great update for the team & the club's chances to deliver as many trophies as possible

I thought he was excellent on Saturday when he came on, I was surprised this is the only comment since Thursday. But today he looked like a pensioner

He did his best tonight but he needed help against the energy/athleticism/cvntishness of Spurs. He was never going to get it from Gundogan.

Whilst I accpet that as a point of view. Could it not also be argued that Gundogen didn't get going because he was covering Fern? That isn't necessarily my view but a point non the less

He was good. Don't like what he did on Kane though as it looked intentional to me. A dangerous game to play when VAR is active.

No,i didn't see Gundogan fighting for every ball or putting the digs in when required.

Nor did I. Bu someone suggested on Twitter that Gundo was there to close down/stop the passing lanes to Eriksson and Alli. I find that hard to accept as I would expect more from a player at this level

That's not his skill set,not in a million years.

I think there was reason he tried to give Kane a bit of afters, is Kane had been tussling with him earlier and Fernandinho was having none of it.

It's true strikers always get away with backing into defenders, flailing arms and heads about to wind up them up but it's also true that the cameras are less interested in it too and the strikers know it. Careless really from Dinho, we need him to rise above and keep his cool because he's too important for the games ahead. That or be smarter and make the ref notice when the attackers are giving out.

Lol. With his 75% completion rate? And toucctou the ball as much as Mahrez when he should be the one controlling play?

You must have an aversion to facts. He wasn't even average. He was poor.

Doesn't look at all fit at the moment. Wouldn't play him on Wednesday if he's still struggling.
