Having the GPC in charge might actually help come the derby as he hates the dippers more than us so maybe they might have a few 'injuries' crop up in training so they have a weaker side. Every scum fan I have spoken to wants their team to down tools against us - lesser of two evils one said to me if we win it

Can't see the players and management feeling the same if (as it looks like) they're in make or break territory with regards CL qualification. They're likely to be sitting just outside the top 4 and out of the CL at kickoff of that game.

No way they would down tools. I for one don’t buy the ‘Liverpool are our real rivals’ it’s BS to belittle City fans. The will be screaming from the rafters for a United win next week. If the hatred was that strong as they make out it would be subdued.

And that is the beauty of it .... A game they MUST get something from, at home, means they'll have more gaps than the back of Kyle walkers socks ....
 
They arent that great. They still play defensive football. Their greatest threat as far as I can see is a breakaway goal against the run of play or a dodgy penalty.
 
Always amused at their reaction to the persistent stories of Pogba being unhappy and looking for a move.
The usual reaction is "he can go but we want at least 180m".

The figure that they've plucked out of the air would be plus Mino premium plus 5 years of 500k p/w wages so around 325m over the course of the contract or 60m per year for one very good but not exceptional sulky player with a snake of an agent ready to stir shit at a moments notice.

He might sell a lot of shirts and get millions of followers on social media but there's a limit to the value that yields.
Doubt anyone will take the plunge at that sort of money so he may be hanging around the swamp awhile longer yet.
 
The refs performance in their game against West Ham tells what we should be expecting when we go there. they need the rags in the top four because too many people will lose too much money if they aren’t. And it’s their last chance to be relevant this season with the world watching I’m expecting our goals chalked off and dodgy pens for them. We’re just going to have to go there and wipe the floor with em ref and all

That and most of them will have nobody to support in the CL next season if the rags don't qualify.

For some of them, the thought of us winning everything and outshining their treble doesn’t bear thinking about for them. Next week they will be 100% trying to stop us.
