If Sandler and Mangala is going out, and Muric replaces Bravo, we would have 1 foreign spot for a DM. All other foreign incomings would have to replace current foreign players in our squad

That's correct but would leave Muric as our only keeper should Ederson get injured I know that's the case this season but would we risk it through choice, not sure we will.

Muric is at least equally as good as Bravo, if not better

yep, guaranteed to have 3 keepers, and if Muric is one of them, can't imagine Pep going with two novices. Richard Wright still got his gloves...?

He could be but would still take a non home grown spot. Although I seem to remember when we bought him he'd be loaned out bit like Harrison and Mooy, and it was suggested he may not get a work permit but think he's played for the national team a few times since then.

Ah ok, thank you. Looks like he had 6 international appearances in '18 and 2 in '19 so far. I don't guess I know how many he'll need to qualify for a work permit.
 
How are we going to move our wantaway players on such massive wages even if there are potential suitors?
 
Not sure De Ligt wants to go anywhere but Barca, unfortunately.

We could try for that Spurs CB with the £25m buyout though, is it Vertonghen or Alderweireld, whichever, as back up to Stones and Laporte, plus hopefully Kompany gets another season.

How about offering Dortmund cash plus Mahrez for Sancho?

And try to get this Joao Felix lad.

Just need a Fernandinho replacement then. Only Kante is good enough that I know of, but I'm sure there must be a few around Europe the club are looking at.

Sell Ota, Gundogan and Danilo if they want to leave.

Ndidi from Leicester to come in as a DM? The lad's not a star but he looks like he could be one in the making with the right coaching and situation.

I don’t think any are on ‘massive’ wages, it’s all incentivised and lower basic with us. And if Otamendi has already agreed to join another club then he’s not an issue.

Also if these players want away then I’m sure they’ll be happy to leave for whatever is offered by the new clubs. It’s not like any are going to have large and problematic transfer fees.

Danilo is rumoured to take pay cut to join Inter and if those players genuinely want to leave, then they will take pay cut, if not, then they really dont want to leave. It would be different if City were pushing those out and I don't think thats the case (well maybe Delph).

Gundogan will attract interest from big clubs like Bayern, Real, Juventus surely so wages in his case won't be issue anyway

Sounds about right. I think we will go for foreign CB and target Wan-Bissaka for RB.

Though im not sure if Zack Steffen is our back up keeper next season. He would take up foreign spot. Signed him in December for £7m.

Yes could be though if not De Ligt, who ?, thought maybe Aarons as HG right back.
Possibly Steffen but haven't seen anything about Bravo leaving so left him in as either way will take up a foreign spot. Only other centre back I thought of if we go for homegrown there is Ake.

Do you still think we will get reasonable fees for them? 25 million each for Otamendi, Gundogan and Danilo?
