What I can't understand is, the design team make template for jersey then proceed to pick 2 different shades of sky blue ??

City’s original blue was a lot darker than what you see today.

Even the 68 shirt is a lot bolder than the current efforts.

If I recall we had purple on a white away top in the mid nineties I think,purple lines down it if I’m right ..

Its nothing like Burnley.

Almost identical to Burnley's away kit in 16/17. This Burnley kit actually looks more Manchester City than our kit for the upcoming season.

If you don't like the new shirts, vote with your wallet. They aint arsed about a few lost shirt sales from Mancs. Same for that abortion nike recently brought out, saw plenty of day trippers and half and half scarves wearing them.

Purple is the colour of Royalty, I think it suits us just fine.
