Have you ever looked at the players cfc have let goGood player. Always wondered why CFC let him go.
It's a pity we wont take a gamble on our own young players. But it's high risk. If they are not ready, we could lose titles
I think he's decent in the air. I can think of a few goals he's scored from corners. I like him. He's got a good attitude. A leader. The problem with Ake is his height, losing Kompany leaves a gap in how to manage the likes of Burnley and Brighton, the near post defending was a concern last season, someone with a physical presence is required
Maybe somebody from City or Bournemouth is in France to watch the Women's World Cup and the local wine got them talking a little? Why would lequipe report this stuff?
Odd
And your opinion on, more than likely, double that for Maguire?40 million haha

I was only concerned about near post defending for about 2 minutes in the last game of the season, overall we were more vulnerable to quick transitions and counter attacks. From what I've read he seems to be extremely quick and good on the ball so IMO is a much better fit than Maguire. Besides playing regularly for Bournemouth he'll have much more experience of aerial bombardment than we have in the last 2 seasons. The problem with Ake is his height, losing Kompany leaves a gap in how to manage the likes of Burnley and Brighton, the near post defending was a concern last season, someone with a physical presence is required
Not saying I don't like him though Pep referenced it near the end of the season where he said he prays at set pieces and corners, don't forget Lorente goal eventually cost us in EuropeI was only concerned about near post defending for about 2 minutes in the last game of the season, overall we were more vulnerable to quick transitions and counter attacks. Beat me to itIf we can't beat the likes of Burnley next season without hugely physical player then we have far deeper problems.
I think they paid that for him!25m tops or we go with what we have
