97 points and lost one game , and they still didnt win a title , comical , maybe they should copy our approach to winning titles , beat the holders of the Premier league home and away like we did to Chelsea and the Rags , instead the Dippers were hanging on for 0-0 and praying for Mahrez to miss the winning penalty at Klanfield and then they came to the Etihad grovelling for a point. To any lurkers from RAWK , if you want the Premier league title come and take it off us , show some bottle and play your normal kick and rush game , and you can then witness Pep and the boys tearing your overrated self proclaimed superstars to pieces.

Makes me laugh when an itinerant Dipper from Essex wears a tee shirt with “we’re not English we are Scouse” I mean, why the fuck would anyone want to be associated with that shit hole of a place and the vile twats that live there? Wankers.

While Liverpool haven't won a league title since

Before the world wide web was launched for public use
Margaret Thatcher was prime minister
Nelson Mandela had just been released from jail
Goalkeepers were allowed to pick up pass backs
Before the Hubble telescope was launched
Before Iraq invaded Kuwait & Operation Desert Storm
Before Freddie Mercury died
Before Robert Maxwell's body was found floating in the sea
Before Terry Waite was unchained from his radiator in Beirut and freed
And so on and on...
 
Last season was the perfect storm for them and they came second. Credit to them for the CL. A win is a win but it will be remembered as one of the most boring finals in history.

Next season I don’t see them coming as close.

Firmino was a starter for Brazil at Copa America. Salah and Mane involved in AFCON. The latter still there. They’ll be tired after a long long season. Shaqiri is currently injured and not expected back at the start of the season. Sturridge and Moreno are gone. Not big losses but it does weaken their squad. Let’s see if they buy anyone.
