Many have. I don't. I can see the point, I just think it's incorrect. Spending money to expand to new markets is a common strategy. If net spend is the only stick that opposing fans can hit city on the head with, you're in luck.

Klopps hypocrisy is shameless and intentional to slur our wonderful club. He needs to fuck off back to the Third Reich at Bayern.
 
Klopp is just laying the foundations of excuses for another unsuccessful league title attempt. He knows that last season to get 97 points and still finish SECOND hit the team hard. They won't be as good next season and to be honest neither will we. But I think we won't be far off the mid 90s points wise.
 
Klippety is getting a little obsessed with our club , every interview he refers to Manchester City which i clearly cannot understand because the Rags are surely their main rivals , maybe likkle City are gettin under his skin , a jammy champs league win doesnt appear to be healing Klippetys wounds from last seasons title run-in.

City are clearly guilty of creating most of the ills in society - pop along to RAWK for educational purposes . Perhaps that should have read to " appreciate the levels of stupidity / bitterness " amongst dipper fans.

My company is owned by equity owners, running a fairly similar business model to FSG (although a bit more strict). My budget is tied, short term, to EBITDA. I would love to work with employers that were willing to spend big, ignore EBITDA for a second and just look at long term success.

Don't understand why you are so defensive about city's net spend in terms of players in/out. Without those constant investments in the squad, The City Group wouldn't have reached success. You should point fingers and at FSG and the Glazers for using old school "milking" business model, allowing City to go from nowhere to domination in ten years.

Yes it looks like Liverpool may be copying the Arsenal business model which relies on ripping off their fans to ensure the owners can line their pockets each year. Liverpool have just reported a record profit of £125m for the 17/18 season...before winning the Champions League. It is total bollocks that they can't buy more players. The morons in the media will never challenge this sort of crap. They gave Wenger an easy ride for 10 years before it became clear that he was spouting fake news. Jurgen really has turned into Ken Dodd.

You are either being deliberately stupid or deflecting the point that Klopp is a liar . Net spend, Gross Spend , who gives a fuck. Klopp has had plenty of money to spend during his time at the dippers, and you know that .

Your manager is spreading lies to insure himself against criticism , should he not be as successful this year.
