Away tickets

I don't go to away games currently so I'm not personally affected but as a formerly hardcore away supporter in the 70s, 80s and part of the 90s I know that when you want to go to all games it's incredibly frustrating when you can't. If there were lots of empty seats today in our section (or games upcoming) why don't people take photos and post them on here?

Just saying it can be dismissed as heresay.

Nothing new there mate
It’s bollocks that we’re told they only get one each

that's often true from my experience, but certainly not today. don't know whether that's the allocation spread over fewer requests or a larger allocation but the general make-up was different today, friendlier atmosphere though which was refreshing

cos the blokes next to you who get caught in the shot tend to be the "oi! fuck are ya taking my picture ya nob" types

The thing about the empty seats at away games is not always that the tickets haven’t been sold. It can also be because a lot, especially the younger element, squash 2/3/4 to a ‘seat’. Plus, as someone else posted, they are on the concourse. And it’s not just the odd one here & there it is quite a lot.

exactly the people who shouldn't get tickets. Firstly, as today, they deprive 7 people of a seat (in my experience). secondly, they ruin the experience for those whose space they invade squeezing in. Third they tend to be the sort who powder their noses and sing the rejected last line to the Bernardo song.

When we walked past the ticket office at 11-15 the queue was massive and they all seemed to be West ham fans so had a 100 city fans you would have to get there 2 hours before kick off
City had a separate window and it took us 3 minutes to collect our tickets that hadn't turned up.

Lots of empty seats on the lower tier, and i was told by a SC member that loads were offered last minute to the branches to sell.
Why only to the branches ? These should be made available to all supporters, there should also be a deadline for any tickets to be returned , at least a week before the game .

And to top it all off, some supporter's clubs received an email of a high ranking official of there's to ask if anyone had a spare for West ham as he was short of one or two

its obvious that the Corporates are getting too many tickets and they aren’t given a strict deadline to return these by!

The tickets should be reaching people with lower points than the cut off
