Klopp wins FIFA Manager of the year,

I’ll leave it at that.
Can't even win his domestic league with the club he manages. Couldn't give 2 fucks TBH. Let them lap it up. We are hated and the jealousy is there for all to see. We are the best team in Europe on our day. As long as everyone who follows City are happy with the performances of these fantastic players and backroom staff and the management. Then the media, Fifa and Uefa can carry on dishing out awards that In reality mean Fuck all!!!

None of them could hold down a starting berth tbf so irrespective of what they were sold for they were mistakes or wastes aren’t they?

Not really. If you buy a player as backup or as an investment in the future and they don't hold down a starting berth, that doesn't make them mistakes or a waste, especially if you sell them at a profit. They served (or are serving) their purpose as intended.

Karius is the only one on the list I would class as a complete failure and waste of money, but even that was a limited loss in financial terms (excluding the financial impact of possibly costing us the CL final). Keita could be the biggest mistake by a mile, but I think its still far to early to say. Hopefully he'll come good but given the crazily successful run of significant transfers we've had over the last few years, we must come a cropper at some point.

Now if you went back a few more years then you can really start talking about wastes of money..... Balotelli et al

Balotelli is a legend, we love him here, he was not a waste of money ... Just misunderstood ... A bit ... Now if you had said Mangala or Bony............!
Not sure who Et Al is, don't remember us signing any Tunisians ??

I will always go back to this point.

You don’t sell your best players.

OK, Liverpool won the CL, with replacements, but Liverpool failed domestically in every cup competition. Not that any of that matters, as Liverpool fans only wanted Liverpool to win the CL. ;-)

And let’s be brutally honest about this. Bar beating Barcelona at Anfield, where Barcelona didn’t turn up, and thought they just had to turn up to win the tie, and a poor Bayern side in Munich, Liverpool on the whole we’re pretty dire in the CL. And it’s fair to say the CL final was one of the worst in living memory.

Of course all that won’t matter. What only matters is winning the CL, regardless of how a team does it.

Mario who passed the ball to Aguero who scored the most important goal of the season...you know the goal that won the Premier League...hardly a waste of money.
But since you are on about wasting money..how about your deluded fans who apparently paid 6 grand for tickets to see you crowned champions last season...

My apologies, I wasn't trying to imply he was a waste of money to City, but a waste of money to Liverpool. He was just the first name on a long list that I thought of

Fair enough, I remember a few short years ago my lfc mates were levelling the same accusation about Sterling, I know it was just a bit of spite disguised as banter because he dared to want to leave, funny but they never mention him now???

Yeah but Sterling was a waste of money. The real star of the team was Ibe apparently

And he never gets mentioned any more either :-)

But he did give Liverpool fans one of their greatest recent moments when United lost the title with virtually the last kick of the season :)

I think at the time most people thought he was over priced. Liverpool fans in particular hoped that he was to lessen the loss of him leaving, similar to the pantomime booing that he always gets (though I never understood why some call him a snake ).

Difficult to argue anything now other than he has turned out to be a bargain for you, and a strong role model for others. Outside of maybe RAWK (I wouldn't know as I never go there myself), there's increasing praise on Liverpool forums for Raheem in all respects.

Well, we were clutching at straws at that point......... And at least Bournemouth were mad enough to splash out a small fortune on him, so some (very) small consolation at least

That’s nice to hear.

He was with Liverpool fans after the community shield signing shirts for kids and having selfies taken

Bombed out of domestic cups
Lost a 9 point lead in Jan
Didn’t win an away game in group stages

Yep I see why he won that
Look at Real Madrid ffs. 3rd in the league, 19 points behind Barcelona, knocked out of the CL in the round of 16 after losing 4-1 at home to Ajax, beaten 4-1 in the semi final of the Copa del Rey. 4 players in the team of the year.

Its a farce isn’t it.....your username should be emblazoned on the suits at Fifa : )

So klopp is manager of the year

I think when you think about it to lose so many times in Europe last season and still make a final is some going.
Plus VAR was used to make sure dipperpool didnt meet any strong team in the final.
Barcelona had a brain fart.
Spurs rolled over for them.
They didnt need to attack a rival's team bus.
He threw two domestic cups to win to the premier league...ops sorry come second.

And then to produce the WORSE champions league final in history , come on guys give Klopp some credit for that !! I mean that final was shocking.

If I am right he won one knock competition last season.
Pep only won 2 knock competitions, 1 pre-season cup and the premier league, we were shit !
