So klopp is manager of the year

I think when you think about it to lose so many times in Europe last season and still make a final is some going.
Plus VAR was used to make sure dipperpool didnt meet any strong team in the final.
Barcelona had a brain fart.
Spurs rolled over for them.
They didnt need to attack a rival's team bus.
He threw two domestic cups to win to the premier league...ops sorry come second.

And then to produce the WORSE champions league final in history , come on guys give Klopp some credit for that !! I mean that final was shocking.

If I am right he won one knock competition last season.
Pep only won 2 knock competitions, 1 pre-season cup and the premier league, we were shit !

In a season where we played more games & had a higher win percentage 81.97% versus 71.7%.

Scored 54 more goals but we did concede 1 more than them. Won 4 trophy’s to their 1 all with an inferior keeper, defence ( remember we conceded 1 more) midfield & the most amazing attack that somehow scored 54 less goals must be down to having such an amazing Coach.

I think at the time most people thought he was over priced. Liverpool fans in particular hoped that he was to lessen the loss of him leaving, similar to the pantomime booing that he always gets (though I never understood why some call him a snake ).

Difficult to argue anything now other than he has turned out to be a bargain for you, and a strong role model for others. Outside of maybe RAWK (I wouldn't know as I never go there myself), there's increasing praise on Liverpool forums for Raheem in all respects.

I can feel a ban coming on, but fuck off you lying sanctimonious scouse twunt! You are seriously calling the death threats, the racism and sheer vile hatred directed at sterling from your feral scum fan base leading to a national media campaign to turn him into a hate figure for the masses as pantomime booing ???

You need to give your head a wobble as you've clearly lost the plot and the pea sized brain isn't rattling around anymore.

The persistent and consistent under statements of every disgusting thing these fuckers do is nauseating.

Mass Murder is a building accident.
hacking is ok
Racism is just banter
death threats nah jst pantomine booing
bus attacks support by the local plod, just scouse hospitality

Lots of shit coming out about Liverpool,

Would love if it if somewhere, behind the scenes we're responsible. Not that we'll ever find out but a boy can dream...

Klopp`s side lost 4 matches in the CL, had one decent win and one exceptional victory in the competition whilst being part of one of the worst finals in recent times. Guardiola`s CITY won 4 trophies and went out of the CL Quarter Finals having drawn against the other finalist (the outdated away goal does not stand this season). He was undisputed Manager of the Season.

There is little doubt that Pep Guardiola was also more deserving of the FIFA Men's Coach of the Year award. Klopp got it because his side won the European Cup, he said as much in his acceptance speech. If not him, it would have been Poch ! Why bother with the charade then ?

More importantly, when will Klopp be asked about senior Liverpool FC employees accessing and taking confidential football data and intelligence from a a competitor in the same league? And, allegedly using this stolen data to improve Liverpool`s scouting information and performance. The press ask relevant and important of questions from other managers.

There is a growing demand to know more about this major issue and what The Times has described as a "football scandal" with Liverpool at the centre of it.

It wont happen because the media are infected with pro-dipper journo's

Klopp is a media savvy person - he realised when he first got the job that he had to go on a major charm offensive both with the cult crowd and the press - and it serves his purpose as to keep any questions that should be fired away from not being asked at all

A modern-day Govan pisscan?

I would say yes, but at the different end of the scale. the gpc was ruthless and would just bully or ban anyone he wanted, an iron fist ruling. Klopp diverts the attention elsewhere by being this lovable happy smiley chap, chest pumping cheerleader

He is constantly leading our praises saying we are the best team - when the truth would be he does not believe a word of it - it just serves his purpose to keep them lauded as the plucky underdog to ourselves

Any other team who had a 7pt lead and then blew it would have come under immense scrutiny - it barely gets mentioned if at all, just that they finished on a record number points haul for finishing second

Surely if he claimed that Liverpool was the best team in the world, your fans would be up in arms? The general concensus among rational Liverpool fans (as opposed to the rabid minority) is that City is still the better squad/team, even if it is only by a fraction, so I feel that no matter what he said, a large portion of your fanbase would criticise him regardless.

The whole blowing 7 point lead has always seemed ridiculous when you look at the actual number of points dropped over the number of games remaining. If it's Liverpool that bottled it, wouldn't that diminish the lustre of the city performance and run of victories to get the 2nd highest points total in history, implying that that the only reason you won the title was that Liverpool failed?

And since this comment thread started regarding Klopp winning FIFA manager of the year, as a reds fan I think that Peps achievements shaded it, but that the award is biased towards the winners of the champions league.

It was a 10pt lead you bottled
Just saying

OK, but leaving aside the description of bottled it, that 10 point lead included a game in hand for City - ignoring that is more than a little disingenuous. If we led you by 15 points but you had 5 games in hand and won them all, would that still be bottling it? (an extreme example but I hope you get my point)

A game in hand that you couldn't know if we were going to win, lose or draw,we has just lost 3 games to teams at the bottom after all

We pretty will have 5 games in hand shortly. And we all know why.

Perhaps I'm being naive here, but I don't know why. Is this a reference to do with getting knocked out of the cups or is there something else that I'm not aware of going on?

a 10 point gap for City heading into a tricky festive away game on the back of 2 defeats should be brought into consideration, and referred to when praising City on their enormity of their comeback.

Liverpool lost a 7 point lead for sure.
