To be fair “would you like something you pay for now to be free?” Will always generate support.
Shame about the shite awful Labour policies which Grieve highlighted eh.
Oh gosh you've gone and upset @blueinsa now.
Says who? I've said Boris is a tosser on many occasions. He and Corbyn are both wankers, but better the wanker with the sensible policies.I agree that some of his policies are crap.
Amusing that you completely ignore his view of Johnson.
I lol’d
“Can you imagine the hysterical reaction if someone had suggested the creation of public libraries today. ‘for free? How are you going to pay for that, STALIN?” @Independent

Money wasn't so tight was it though to give tax cuts to business and the wealthiest in our society? Its a good one but when free things like libraries which sadly becomes a financial liability when money is tight is fighting things like the NHS, School budgets, Social care etc etc then they go to the bottom of the list and often get shut so what was once free is now no more.

This is total bollocks I’m afraid.
George Galloway will be voting Labour and you shouldn’t be compared to that tosser for voting for Labour.
Better than Tory tax cuts to be paid for by borrowing mate.As someone who generally leans towards the conservative side of government spending, I actually quite like this Labour policy. Broadband has become as important as other utilities and centralising it should improve connections in rural areas, that just don't make financial sense for private companies.
However, they've not pitched it right for me. This was the perfect opportunity to scrap HS2 and make the argument that improved home internet would make remote working more viable for more people, thus adding more to the economy and limiting the need for additional high speed transport into London.
As it is, I suspect it's just more Labour spending to be paid for by increasing taxes and borrowing.
George was fully behind the Brexit Party last time I checked. Probably voting Tory now :)

We've had ten years of that shit now and it's got us nowhere.
