Anti UEFA demonstration at Madrid game - whistles ?

A lot of radical and far fetched ideas over 36 pages.

The stewards tried to take down an anti VAR banner recently. Why do you think they and the club would allow any other form of protest to UEFA. Pep said he didn’t like the booing of the anthem. Many fans on here have said the same “it’s time to stop” but all of a sudden we need to do that and more?

The hierarchy have succeeded in trying to stamp out any sort of passion over the last 7/8 years at this football club.

They and others now want to create an us and them mentality and all this #together bollocks once more? Where has that backbone been the last years when we have been battered from pillar to post in the media, on social media without any form of defence?

Boo all you want, protest all you want, your thanks from the powers that be will be another price rise once it all boils over.

I’ll always defend the club and support the players but spare me the siege mentality requests. That starts from the top and the club have taken us for mugs for far too long.

So you think UEFA's position to our club has no baring on the ethnicity of our owners?

Gotta be a Poznan, not been done properly in a while. I always saw it as a sign of defiance, Wembley Vs United was amazing.

Has to be brought back. They can drown out our boos, but they can't overlook 50 odd thousand doing the poznan.

Either that or stay on the concourse until 2 minutes into the game.

Let's hope the club are sensible about selling tickets and make sure that no Madrid fans are in home areas - I have seen it get pretty heated against Barcelona etc. in the past.
Do you really think the club will hamper the actions of their beloved "travel partners"? RM will have the usual 250 seats in a prime area (CB2), there will be a load of their fans in CB3 in an area supposedly for journalists, and any fucker with a slight link to the corrupt bastards might be "UEFA guest" in the centre of the East Stand. Though it's probably not the best game to flash (oo er missus) any UEFA accreditation.

doing the Poznan sounds great but the tv companies will just zoom into the players doing their pre-match handshakes, plus why will people watching think the Poznan is a demonstration against UEFA ?

I appreciate that but I think your optimism is sadly futile. City have been eliminated from the CL three years in a row by terrible officiating. They are now trying to ban us. It won’t get better, it will continue to get worse.

Rip up any uefa or champions league paraphernalia they stick up around the ground.
Burn it if we have too.Lets make these fuckers know along with the journos that they are not welcome.Fuck them.

why don't you give up and just move on soft lad.

I'm not sure how a protest works in this situation. Buying tickets to watch a game in a competition we will not be allowed to win run by a football authority that is corrupt and will continue to attack us until we have new owners of an acceptable provenance by bouncing up and down for 60 seconds or booing? The only thing that'll stimulate is laughter in the heated seats in CB 2.

For any blues willing to contribute to a display. 1894 group have set up a fundraiser for the home game against Madrid. The money raised will go towards some type of anti-UEFA/Pro-City display.

The group are listening to ideas from donators.

I can see people being stopped from bringing banners into the game - for "Security Reasons"

I for one will certainly be contributing, without being a party pooper here with all the proposed demonstration suggestions, can I please suggest we kinda keep it to ourselves, as we don't want the whole world to know our plans!!

Sort of black adder cunning plan Broderick style! No doubt on the day of the game against Real 'Fascisto' Madrid, the authorities will be all geared up for body searches and the like.

So whose got a cunning plan to suggest and get us the planning group formed?

Although I've been a rebel all my life I have always rebelled within the law or the rules depending on what situation it was. Debate, demonstrations (peaceful) etc were my preferred methods. However in this case I would advocate; wrapping the banner around your person to enter the stadium, pushing it down your trouser legs to get through security, in your pocket. Or wear the hoody with the 'kangaroo pocket' as I do. I put my gloves in there and they can be bulky, never been pulled yet. I've even left my keys in there on the odd occasion, by accident, and not been pulled.

Just a few suggestions. Sorry Ric and Mods if this post is against the rules please feel free to remove it.
