Hmmm,I’m expecting by the beginning of next week the infection rate could well rise again ..
Quite right too. I suspect there will be more about this in the 50 page document being discussed tomorrow. My union has teamed up with two other unions and their last message told us that unless the government can ensure their conditions for returning to work can be met, that we should not return to work.
Workplaces have to show consideration and reasonableness.
Yes definitely and be out of a job by dinner time
So everyone who can't work from home needs to get back to work if they can, but they hope shops and schools might open in stage 2? Meanwhile they will be planning on sorting out some guidelines on how to safely get back to work, but they are telling everyone to go back to work before those guidelines have been sorted out?
Guidelines are simple, social distancing still applies, don’t share items if possible, wash hands etc, don’t be shaking hands and kissing people etc. It’s not that hard to understand. Each company is responsible to ensure its employees can return to work safely. So everyone who can't work from home needs to get back to work if they can, but they hope shops and schools might open in stage 2? Quarantine, but not if you're coming from France!! So, basically, the whole of Europe can traipse in, unchecked. What could possibly go wrong...
However it will be possible for Welsh people to drive into England for a day out without being challenged. Interesting to see how this all pans out. They are mustard round here, we got pulled and got the Spanish inquisition coming back from the shops. Decent coppers though doing their job.
in a nutshell, yes. What can possibly go wrong
And what sort of fuckwit thinks it's a good idea to tell people they should go back to work at 7.00pm the day before it should happen?
Ring in and say you've got a cough...Agreed it's a huge problem. I'm just quoting what he's said. People are going to have to make some very difficult decisions.
If your employer tells you he's opening up on Monday and your only form of transport is the tube in the centre of London, what are you supposed to do?
Not go in? And put yourself and your family in a difficult position financially?
Go in? And possibly catch something and then risk spreading it to your loved ones?
I've worked throughout this lockdown as many have. Not because I thought it was 100% safe to do so but because if I didn't I wouldn't get paid.

thanks - watching it on Youtube now too.Cafes end of june bars end of aug sept, 5 aside footy end of june , exercise unlimited but only with family member ,anyone working in construction industry and people who cant work from home can return to work.
Clear as mud!:))
So they can then go back home and say, "If you think our rules are muddled, wait 'til you hear this.."Why would they want to come here?!
Yes, it's an ill wind and all that but how far it rises may give us more of a clue as to how many have already been infected, which right now it seems we can only guess at.Hmmm,I’m expecting by the beginning of next week the infection rate could well rise again ..

There; some instructions to help you with breathing.
Social distancing was mentioned, it is still to be maintained.“So, work from home if you can, but you should go to work if you can’t work from home.”
Social Distancing not mentioned. He explicitly mentioned construction, impossible to always be 2 metres from a colleague there.
