I don't think she is saying that they will die but that they are just as liable to contract the virus which if they do means a period of quarantine for those that they have been in contact with. Don't forget that whilst the virus does kill the vast majority of those who have contracted it do recover but I am not sure that is what the medically trained Doctor is saying. She is just stating that they are just as likely to contract the virus as other groups of people are and that they are not immune just because they are fitter than most.I don't know about that bud, how many premier league or indeed active footballers have died of covid? Footballers are young and fit it stands to reason they could probably deal with this virus better than a middle aged shopworker.
The same could happen to me at work today, tomorrow or yesterday( that is catch or spread the virus) . But I still have to go to work. The only difference is me and my co workers do not have the luxury of testing
What if they pass it on to a sick or elderly family member?I bet a higher % of players have STDs than this virus. Given they are elite sportsmen their bodies will likely cope with the virus much better than Dorris in Tesco could cope with it and she is out earning her £8.50 an hour.
No offence mate, i'd probably not take advise from someone who thinks there is a conspiracy to control you with fear from a "pandemic".
There is also a lot of evidence that even a mild case can leave a “healthy” adult with badly scarred lungs and permanent pulmonary fibrosis.I don't think she is saying that they will die but that they are just as liable to contract the virus which if they do means a period of quarantine for those that they have been in contact with. Women’s game is not financially viable. Nobody’s going back to work for the fun of it, viable businesses need to restart asap to get the economy moving hence football is very keen to get things movingWithout me having to google it.
Could someone explain why the wsm season is being ended, but the men’s game is safe to carry on?
I’ve not read up on it so have no idea but the cynic in me can only put it down to who’s top and who’s bottom.
Surely if the men’s game is safe to resume then so is the women’s?
So all about money then.Women’s game is not financially viable. Nobody’s going back to work for the fun of it, viable businesses need to restart asap to get the economy moving hence football is very keen to get things moving
It obviously is about money, that doesn’t mean though that clubs can just refusse to play. If they have contratual obligations they can’t afford to break then they may just have to play. Like the contractual obligation album many bands release it won’t be very good but it has to be put out there. Then we can move on.So all about money then.
Obviously because women are less affected than men......oh.Without me having to google it.

That and avoiding legal wrangling as the relegations and european spots are carved up whichever way if they don’t play the season out. Not personally bothered either way.
