Lyon is still in the CL. They have to play their return leg and defend their one goal lead in/against (Juventus) Turin.

However, they will not be in any european cup next year unless they win the CL, which they will not. Therefore, they urgently need to sell to balance their accounts. It was their modus operandi in normal years, thus in a year with no european football + COVID, they are broke and need a lot of money from sales.

I could totally see them agreeing to a deal for the next season already. City has money and can easily afford Aouar. Good for the player who knows his future is sorted too.

Lyon has to publicly announce if the transfer is done.

They have been training though so you would assume he has been tested like our players.

Won’t matter if he is coming would only be for a day or so. He wouldn’t be going anywhere public.The fact nobody has heard anything probably means like Bernardo it would be more likely.
Have they been training, they have no games for weeks.

People saw him at the CFA at the last knockings of the deal if I remember, that is less likely now. I remember because I ‘d been predicting we would buy him and for the firstvand probably last time ever was shocked to be right.

That was a weird day, but yeah, I did find out. I found out before anyone saw him, as I knew an agent who worked closely with Man City. He told me. There was literally nowt anywhere online about it at all at the time. Was incredibly out of the blue.

The 2 week quarantine starts tomorrow I think anyway, so if he flown over the weekend then he's not required to. Besides being on a private jet might mean he doesn't have to regardless - there are loopholes/exemptions
