I’m talking about the electorate. You know, the people who decide the outcome of elections. The leaked Labour report.
What makes think they’ll ever elect a left-wing Prime Minister?

Edited my post.So am I
Edited my post.
Ok, I’ll ask the question again - it’s like being at work, this:I didnt
You don’t like who but you know his name?
The Health Secretary, in the middle of a pandemic, you should know that?
I don’t know why Hancock getting Rashford’s name wrong is an issue at all, his campaign isn’t even Hancocks area and he doesn’t like football.
I'd assume decades of everything being shit under a succession of right wing ones might increase the likelihood?Ok, I’ll ask the question again - it’s like being at work, this:
What makes you think the British electorate will ever elect a left-wing Prime Minister?
And a senior member of cabinet doesn't know the name of the person who caused his government to do a complete policy u-turn in 24 hours. Forgive me for expecting more of the health secretary. But it's fine. He doesn't like footy so who really cares!

Heartwarming to see salt of the earth, man of the people Matt Hancock thanking Daniel Rashford for his efforts this morning.

Pleasing to see the fact that the fat lazy clueless **** is being outed by others too
Yes, I've long thought govts of all colours tend to have a bit less control on the economy than they would have us believe. In many ways just play the hand they are dealt by circumstances. I don't think the last labour govt was any more responsible for the financial good health of the nation at the end of the 90's than it was for the crash in 08. Just riding the crest of the waves.Events, dear boy, events.
2008, the Brexit stalemate, Covid-19.
These events have made things shit in my opinion. The budget in January was a cause for great optimism, deficit in a good place, unemployment lowest ever, money being reinvested and bang... pandemic.
If you are expect Rashford to get it right in regards water being turned off, you cannot then reasonably argue that it is ok for the HS to get his name wrong - he has literally changed government policy overnight, everyone in the country knows his name
Personally, I think it’s live tv and these things happen but you can’t say Rashford has to be ‘correct’ in a tweet but give a pass to Hancock. I think there is a contradiction there
But it doesn’t really make any difference. Once Brexit is ‘done’ and the party can put clear water between the actions of Johnson and themselves they will get rid. There is absolutely no chance he goes into the next GE as leader. None at all
