I'd take him over Sancho any day.
Zidane won FIFA World Player of the Year for the third time when be was 30. Just saying... (yes, I am aware he is possibly one of the best midfielders that has ever lived and Grealish is Grealish).Goalies aside, do you really want to be imagining your players at 30, as being their peak?

Modern day footballers should peak between 28-32 if they don't get any serious injuries. Don't understand the dislike of him, he's top quality.Zidane won FIFA World Player of the Year for the third time when be was 30. Just saying... Haha I fu*King wish. Are you on commission mate?!
Modern sport science has probably bumped that up a bit tbf. For instance you can hardly see KDB dropping off a cliff in two years and Fernandinho and Touré had possibly their best seasons for us past 30. Grealish could peak before 30 but it's an unknown really.Fair enough mate, not saying players can’t be world class at 30 and do amazing things, but just in my mind I always think of a players peak athletically naturally occurring around age 26-29.

I don't dislike him. My point simply was there are thirty year old players that can be THE best. The Grealish is Grealish part was just acknowledging he will likely never be the same class as Zidane. Apologies if I was not clear.Modern day footballers should peak between 28-32 if they don't get any serious injuries. Don't understand the dislike of him, he's top quality.

Besides, Grealish could be top quality for City in some way or form even if his peak is only 27.
Truth :-)Henderson is 30 too, and he's the best player in the league.

No need to mate. We're all entitled to an opinion.I don't dislike him. My point simply was there are thirty year old players that can be THE best. The Grealish is Grealish part was just acknowledging he will likely never be the same class as Zidane. Apologies if I was not clear.
