The rules are the rules so CAS would shrug their shoulders at any complaint but if as seems correct if some clubs get away with it and others don't is that something CAS could have looked at?
From the things I have read it is nothing to do with us making a profit or a loss but the accusation that our sponsors were given a back fill payment from the Group to make good their sponsorship. Not saying that is the case but I'm sure it goes on at many clubs.

My comment was just about the lack of media articles, tweets etc pronouncing us guilty or not. It's a huge story and no-one (more or less) is saying anything about it.

Because there’s really nothing to say on it. This isn’t some random made up transfer rumour bullshit you can print then find a convenient excuse as to why it proved to all be bullshit later. we are waiting on a court verdict, nothing is going to get leaked beforehand, absolutely nobody will have any genuine information and any speculation is based on fuck all and worth as much as the opinion of a 2 year old

UEFA and FFP needs looking at but it is a minefield

This thread reminds me of many threads over the years in the transfer forum, at the moment.

I think I’ll put Bluemoon down until about 10:00 on Monday morning!

Not getting my hopes up or dashed at all yet.

See you all on the other side!

Correct.

Sad to say I've spent far too much time trawling the internet to find anyone, anywhere, saying anything, and while there's a lot of noise from the usual suspects, there's nowt of any substance that I can find.

Do you accept that both City & UEFA already know what will be said on Monday? Because they do.

How was the birthday young Frog?
Good, we had a bowie at Glastonbury party:), and the lads actually clubbed together to get me a pressie, out with mrs frog and tadpole for a meal tonight, 630table homeforthematch, then I'm off fishing tomorrow, an excellent birthday weekend

edit, just had to cancel the meal out, mrs frog got back from the hairdressers and is now suffering vertigo :(

The picture at the top of Columnae Quintus’ Twitter profile is the league game between United and Arsenal in 1948. City fans would know that.

And he says “Bert” three times.

Columnae. Quintus is Latin for fifth column. Clandestine fifth column activities can involve acts of sabotage, disinformation, or espionage executed within defense lines by secret sympathizers with an external force.

They do! These corporate law types will not be burning the Midnight oil on Sunday evening. Both sides know when the can officially release the outcome. That said you'd suspect/expect some nod or leak.

I thought the details were well known but here we go. Liverpool were on the brink of failing FFP and magicked up £50 million (some sources say £35 million) in 'stadium development expenses' for the Stanley Park Project which had already been abandoned years before. They offset this against their FFP losses and UEFA accepted it despite the sum involved being rather a lot for mowing the grass a few times and maybe getting an inital blueprint knocked up.

There's an article in the Telegraph from 2015 but you might have to sign up for a free trial to read it uninterrupted.

I go through phases of keeping an interest in what goes on outside of City, was probably not really looking in the places it would have been reported nationally (yeah right haha) so missed it.

Cheers tho

For what it's worth, word over here in Germany over the last few days or so is we've been completely exonerated.

A couple of colleagues were working on the Sane/Bayern story and still have decent contacts with people around Pep.

Interestingly, people at Bayern also apparently know the outcome and have been surprisingly relaxed about it, especially considering they were one of the major driving forces behind the Der Spiegel stuff (which is a pretty fascinating story in its own right and I'll get around to sharing once the CAS verdict is made official).

You won’t get on at 10.00 on Monday morning. This forum is going to crash regardless of the result!
