CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

It may well have already been posted, but I'm fucked if I'm going through 500-odd pages checking! Anyway, it stands up to being repeated!

"Gary Neville is a blue
Is a blue
Is a blue,
Gary Neville is a blue
He hates UEFA"

I’d only seen the first minute before so thanks.

It’s nothing short of brilliant. Everything I would want to say myself.

I have been pleasantly surprised by Neville. His comments are usually sane, balanced, fair. Never thought I'd say this: Well done Gary!!

Seems with Neville the thing is he has ongoing football & business interests and so he's engaged
and researches what he's gonna talk about.

Sounds obvious but the vast majority of media pundits don't do anything except a bit of TV/newspapers stuff and they think it's a piece of piss, and they just regurgitate the kind of stuff they chat about on the golf course with their ex player mates.

That time when Gary Neville kissed Paul Scholes forehead, if do the same to Gary now after seeing that.

blimey, he's not saying it for any other reason than he wants to protect his Salford City interests, the fawning over him is ridiculous.

Come on. Even if that were true look at how many people say one thing about others and then do the opposite. He didn’t have to go into detail to support City there he went out of his way. If that was an ex City player we would be praising him regardless.

We have few people in the media on our side so when GN and Souness speak up for us they deserve recognition for their efforts not following the sheep. Don’t care about United or Salford.

Definitely in my top ten City moments at the Etihad. Still brings a smile just thinking about that run he did....
Head back, clawing at the air and gulping in oxygen in order to get to the Arsenal fans as fast as possible. I was there to see it and I loved it.

I had the impression that he's been fairly solidly against it for some time. I suspect he's talked to some who want their clubs sold.

I have no issue with you voicing your opinion, but do when you make up lies like "not at all from City's POV" - which is an objective lie. The article is literally written from Citys perspective airing all of their grievances with Arsenal in chronological order.

If you don't want people to correct you when you lie, dont lie, it's not hard
You wouldn't mind awfully communicating that to President Trump would you Dom? The rest of the world will be forever in your debt. I know it's OT so I shall say no more.

He has always been against it and his version of what should replace it is spot on too as is the example he gives. He’s saying owners need to cover debt and that’s not necessarily in his interests.

I thought his attitude towards FFP was directly linked to his + Peter Lim's efforts to pump money into Salford City.

Which they should be allowed to do. It’s not just self interest as he is arguing FFP doesn’t protect against owners fleecing the club and that investment should be allowed if the owner covers the debt. Imagine United arguing for that!

I find he criticises City (rarely) when we deserve it and supports us when we we are in the right. That’s what I want from a pundit not blind support or vitriol. Just neutrality and a brain.
