Seen him a few times and I think he's got massive potential. I reckon he'll end up at Palace, West Ham or even West Brom as I expect the Hammers to take Diangana back.I hope we’re monitoring Eberechi Eze.
What if you rotate them as a unit?
Ederson walker koulibaly laporte alaba (or whichever lb we get)
Steffan cancelo garcia/stones ake mendy
If they train as units and rotate as unit, who knows haha just a thought
He scored another brilliant goal last night in QPR’s 2-2 draw at West Brom.Seen him a few times and I think he's got massive potential. I reckon he'll end up at Palace, West Ham or even West Brom as I expect the Hammers to take Diangana back.
Palace looks the best fit especially if Zaha goes.
And when it does eventually break, you have a replacement who has had no or little game time
to be fair that is how the cup games should go but that is not enough games for good players and causes dis harmony, so it should be top quality youth, which i do not believe Garcia to be, or decent players who would not win anything or be on as high wages, elsewhere
With the new substitution rules, however, you could make a case for rotating central defensive partnerships more regularly.
At halftime in the League, I think, we were ahead by 3 clear goals in 3 games and ahead by 2 clear goals in 8 games. If we were more clinical in such games and established a 3 goal lead, there is no reason why we couldn’t replace two players at half-time or just after. Choosing that number since Guardiola appears to like the 3 goal cushion.
I just feel that the manager who exploits the new substitution rule the most will reap greater dividends in terms of squad fitness and squad harmony.
Yes, but mainly in defence he's been left with little choice with season long injury to Laporte, injuries to Stones and Mendy he's had to juggle players.I would never expect under Pep one CB partnership to play all 38 league games together - but we need to see an obvious partnership together for most the year next season. Pep's biggest problem this year is a lack of consistency in nearly all areas, but it's partly because he's given very little thought to keeping the same lineup, or basically the same lineup week to week.
I do not expect the new rules to continue, but if they did i would expect the players who expend the most energy to be subbed first, ie wing backs attackers then box to box midfielders, when asked pre match what he wanted Furguson nearly always replied ` energy``Pep is similar with his high press.
I was under the impression that it would be around for the next season, at least. Thereafter, I cannot see a return.
I’m not suggesting that the same defenders be rotated each game, simply stating that the new rule and circumstances on the pitch could afford Guardiola that luxury.
You are right, there are certain positions that demand more. Similarly, the new rule will allow opponents to add more energy where it is required, so we would need to match that, hence my saying we need to be ruthless in the first half.
I reckon that more than ever it’s going to be a squad sport and that measuring players by starts and games played will become a thing of the past.
It was brought in for the hot would cups and reintroduced for the restart after concerns over injuries due to match fitness, it is a shitty idea 4 quarters made for the tv`s to get advertising in, SKY loves it, but managers do not i am led to believe, especially Pep, no point in working the opposition if they are going to get a break every 20 minutes, there is an option to extend until next year and as you say if they do that it will continue, but there is a vote at the end of the season, i think most are going to vote against

Probably bullshit but pissing off the hateful eight and UEFA in one tweet :)
Pep Guardiola will have access to a budget of £300 million with the club targeting four major summer acquisitions. [Sport]
Fuck me, so an average of £75 million per player. And if we get Ake and the young Spanish winger for a combined £70 million then we could be set to spunk £230 million on just 2 players :0
Kane is with more that 100mil to spurs. Unless he wants out of course, which I don’t think he doesKoulibaly and Kane :)

I would rather spend 100 on Haaland instead of Kane
