Summer Transfers

We have promised Michut that he can be in the first team in 2 years time. A first team that will have lot of academy players playing an important role. I do not think the same can be promised to him at PSG.

It took Pep 4 years to get to this point. We have lost many talented players along the way.

we are about to lose a 16 year old Manchester born Striker. We rated him incredibly highly. But he is joining RB Leipzig for free.

as long as clubs do not treat their prised Academy players like a "new signing" many will continue to leave.
If Kouassi had been giving consistent game time as a starter this season(let's say for a good part of the season) and made to feel that he indeed can replace Thiago, I'm sure he would've felt confident to sign.

But how can Kouassi feel Confident that PSG trust him to replace Thiago Silva, If he barely Played?

as I said This takes times to achieve...

Truly now after 4 years at the club, will Pep start treating the elite Academy kids like new signings...

They finally have a concrete pathway beyond "Be patient & wait for your time." PSG is not there yet & cannot give up challenging for trophies to make that happen.

We should have promised the 16 yr old strikes, he was first team in two years, like michut, job done.

.

Are you advocating for Foden and Garcia leaving City because they are nto trusted ?

No. But can you blame them if they left?

but Man City & Pep has shown them enough for those two to trust in his words. So that they are not tempted to jump ship.
But that does not work for every youngster.

We are at the point now where our Core squad is defined. So we can start to give our youngsters a more prominent role now.

We now have a true path to the first team for our elite talents. It took Pep 4 years to reach this point

He's a United Fan & We haven't "shown him enough attention" for him to trust in the project I guess.

Looks pretty amazing considering he’s just turned 18. 13 appearences for their first team, including some in the CL. Scored 3 goals for them as well

13 appearances at 17 yo, good perspectives in the 1st team, highly regarded and praised by the coach, and he still leaves his boyhood club - the strongest team in the country! That just doesn't make sense...

Where's he heading to? I'd guess it's either Madrid or Dortmund.

Maybe he’s just ambitious. He’ll win the league every year until he retires if he stays at PSG, and they’ll crash out early in the CL every year, since they’re not used to playing against good teams. Ligue 1 is a shite league

NAC have announced the final year of cooperation with City due to the new loan agreements from FIFA, apparently they want 2 players one of which is Braaf, For me this is a win win situation with Braaf rumbling of game time, and us needing to see the real player who has to fight for a first team spot against experienced players, we should also sign Doku a very good young player with real game time under his belt before a top team beats us to him

You do realize that the first pro contract in France is limited to 3 years. I fail to see how it would have ruined his career to sign his first contract at PSG.

We are talking about a 17 y.o who have everything to prove still, it is not Neymar.

Oyazerbal just scored for sociadad there best player by a mile plays more like a 10 though hence his number top player. Also martin odegaard is playing on loan from madrid looks truly shocking very very poor.

Yes because if Marquinhos, who is still so young for a CB & is not a "commanding Leader" yet IMO, gets injured at the wrong time...

Kimpembe
Kouassi (18)
Diallo

Kehrer

then your going into a high pressure Champions League with these guys as your CB choice.
Very concerning...
I think Kouassi knew that, Leonardo especially knew that(with a successful CL campaign being a big step to keeping Mbappé)

But Kouassi DID want to stay, despite the agent trying to be greedy. The sporting project unfortunately could not be slowed down just to give him what he wanted.

Koulibaly is your priority target. He wants to leave Napoli. PSG is the only club interested in him.

PSG the only daft fuckers who will pay €90m & €250.000 a week for soon to be 29 year old, saying that it's only a piss poor Sunday League so its piece of piss for his last 4 years, if UTD had any spending money & in Champs League then they would splash out although he wouldnt come & play in England
