would that not be the case if he won Chumps League with Barca? Makes no sense otherwise, if not what a cock up in the contract drafting by Barca, they must have been on a siesta when red scousers got that through in the contract

Just as Barcelona thought their humiliation could not get any worse, a clause in the contract of Philippe Coutinho means they would have to pay up if he wins the Champions League this season.

The add ons were 4.5m for every 25 games - but he has only played 76 in total and I doubt cup games were included so at least 4.5m not paid
Then 4.5m for wining champions league 2019 failed
Then 4.5m for same 2020 - failed
So this 142m is more like 130m and somehow they are still spending the money!!

The only Merseyside club Aldo is a legend for is Tranmere Rovers.
Anyone who thinks this clown is a Victimpool legend must be as pissed as he is.
 
The problem Liverpool have with "legends" is that no decent player hangs around long enough to become one. Thus you have the likes of Gerrard and Carragher, journeymen whose contributions have been magnified by ex-Liverpool placemen in the media. Beyond that, you have to go back 20 years or so to find a decent player who hung around for 10 years. Fowler and Owen both fucked off after 8 and they were "home-grown".

Anyway, wonder if they'll be looking to do the single again this year.

john aldridge once threatened a fake twitter account user with his solicitor for accusing him of being arrested for fighting a pigeon.
he also once threatened to send some heavies round to a lad's house who mocked their defeat at palace.
