If this release clause has rolled over like Barcelona are claiming then we'll have to pay at least £700m to get him because that's what his buy out clause is.

If it hasn't then there is no problem and we'll get the best player in the world for free.

Fairs, wasn't aware. I only browse this forum during summer transfers, it's just interesting to read during this time. Usually met with a lot of hostility after posting something but it's all good lol.

Are you excited for the new season under Pirlo? I like some of the decisions he's made on players leaving already. Really intrigued to see how he gets on as a coach, one of my all time favourites.

They'd be mad to sell him for a low fee though and we'll have to pay a very big fee or lose a couple of players to get him.

The only reason this has all come about is because Messi thinks he can get out easily but otherwise only perhaps 1-3 clubs could ever stump up the cash.

I suppose for us we can't afford him but the shirt sales should sort that.

Fair enough, I'm not a regular and only said that based on the replies here. I'll be gone till next summer window once the season starts anyway, as I said, it's just interesting to read during this time to see what people thought of the season and player outgoings/incomings that are worthy of note.
