He would be an upgrade on whom tho? He cannot replace David, certainly not Rodri, and Gündogan already knows the system so why take a player of the same age out for another one who's considerably more injury prone? Let alone impossible because he just signed a new deal for us.

He is no more than 20 games a season player, yes he will obviously turn up with quality because it comes to him naturally but I would not want to rely on him over an existing squad member of a similar profile, who knows manager's demands and is aware of the team/settled. Some of you lads need to get a firm grip. It is a good buy and will make them stronger but why trash Gundo and Rodri?
It will be a difficult task to claim back the title but it is not impossible. However, it appears some appear ready to give up without a fight.
